Johnnie Doesn’t do Cicada Cantina

Cicada Cantina is a new joint that moved into the old Logan’s Road House near the Best (expensive) Buy in Elk Grove.  They are what appears to be a family owned joint with the legacy store being in Redding, CA.  Cicada serves Mexican food with a traditional style as opposed to American style.  They had a tent set up outside to be Covid compliant, a garage area, and an outdoor dining area.

Here is the review.  (Blogger’s note: we go easy on places due to it being Covid and all)

Ambiance:  we will leave this blank since outdoor was all that was available.

Food:  Cicada Cantina offers traditional Mexican food such as tacos and burritos, but in addition, they have some cool things on the menu, such as seafood plates.  It’s what you would expect from a chain restaurant based in California. However, …

This place charges for chips and salsa. Yeah, they claim if you buy a food item, they will reverse the charge but that is petty.  By the way the chips and salsa is listed as costing $7.99.  Covid or not, you are a Mexican food joint, that is standard and to be expected.  How about a Chinese place without fortune cookies, or an Italian place without bread.  SAD!

A friend of mine ordered the Cabo Salad, it consisted of a typical cobb salad, just very little outside of wilted lettuce greens.  The price for this?  $14, not only did my friend say it wasn’t worth it, but it took 40 minutes to come out during lunch.

Here is an experience shared by someone near and dear to me:

“We dined there in mid-November and since its local we figured we would give it a chance. Since it opened about the time Covid shutdowns began, we didn’t know much about the place. Boy was it a disappointment.  Not having been there before, we looked the menu over and asked our server questions before ordering.  An item that caught my wife’s eye was a spinach enchilada that was listed on the menu as coming in a corn tortilla. My wife asked if she could change to a flour tortilla but was told by our server that it only came in corn. Disappointed, she ordered the chile relleno (think large stuffed jalapeno pepper) for a cool $17.29.  The portion was large, and the pepper appeared to be deep-fried but after a bite or two, it was still icy in the middle and required to be sent back.   I don’t like saying this, but icy food, and unable to change meaningless parts of a dish such as choosing corn or flour tortillas, means only 1 thing, their food is frozen.  Its very expensive freezer food warmed in microwaves and toaster ovens. My chicken fajita looked to be more of the same, processed, frozen, and precooked. There is no excuse for food to come out cold. It’s even more disgusting at the prices that this place has. We are charged for fresh food and get frozen. I expect better.”

Oh, in addition to being microwave meals, my friend’s the total ticket, sans alcohol came to $50 after tip.  Whoa!

I have spoken to a couple other dissatisfied customers that said they were less than impressed and based on the experiences  described above, “unimpressed” is the understatement of the year!

I am going to attach photos of a couple shots of the menu and while some food looks good, look at the prices.

I am sorry it ain’t just Covid, this place is actively ripping off everyone it serves.  This place is basically a very expensive TGI Fridays, where the entire menu can be found at the freezer section at your local grocer.  I see no reason to visit this place.

0/0 seriously, don’t go.

What Will Supreme Court Do with Election

I think the proof is overwhelming that widespread and very organized voter fraud was committed. This fraud was to the extent that it changed the results of the Presidential race. In light of this, what should the Court do? Do they disenfranchise the voters and unilaterally declare a winner?

My answer is a resounding, “No”.

I think the Court will want a Constitutional answer and not want to be accused of legislating from the bench. If this is true, there is only one solution. How this solution may be worded will be interesting but ultimately, the race will be sent to the House of Representatives. I think the Electoral College will be bypassed, either directly or by wording that denies either candidate the required number of votes to win outright.

Let’s see if I’m right.

Oh, moments after I penned the above, there was this from the State of Texas.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued battleground states Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin on Tuesday to challenge their 2020 presidential election results.

“Using the COVID-19 pandemic as a justification, government officials in the defendant states of Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (collectively, ‘Defendant State’), usurped their legislatures’ authority and unconstitutionally revised their state’s election statutes,” Paxton’s complaint says. “They accomplished these statutory revisions through executive fiat or friendly lawsuits, thereby weakening ballot integrity.”

Paxton is asking the U.S. Supreme Court to “declare that any electoral college votes cast by such presidential electors appointed in Defendant States Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin are in violation of the Electors Clause and the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and cannot be counted.

“Disputes between states are among the few cases of original jurisdiction for the Supreme Court, meaning lower courts cannot first hear the cases.

Parable of the Scorekeeper

By a special correspondent.

Suppose I was entered into a golf tournament which required a person to have a score keeper they could hire and an impartial observer to witness the scorekeeper. And I shot a very good game and expected to win….but at the last minute another competitor came in and on his scorecard showed that he made a hole in one on EVERY hole. And I was told because of this guy, I lost the tournament.

How could I PROVE that this score was fraudulent? When I went to ask the observer, he was told to wait in his car in the parking lot. He is unable to provide me with “any proof” of fraud, right?

I could ask the score keeper, but he is a foreign national and can not be located anywhere.

So, as a last ditch effort, I’d have to hire a statistician to mathematically and scientifically demonstrate just how unlikely this “hole in one on every hole” happens to be.

I could comment that this golfer has NEVER made a hole in one in his entire life………is that of any proof of fraud in this case?

The statistician could show that this is “implausible”………is that enough proof of fraud?

I could comment that in the history of the world no human being has achieved such a feat……….is THAT even proof enough to cast doubt on this score?

I am sure that you can easily relate this story to the presidential election at hand.

When a fraudulent score is reported, how does one “prove” it?

The statisticians from many many angles have shown that in these 5 contested States, the result is implausible. The observers were effectively left sitting in their cars in the parking lots. The manuals for the “counting” machines have features that permit creative funky vote counting functions. Why are these features even available? Were they used? How can we tell?

I will attach an article well written on the big picture of all of this and after reading it, you’ll “smell something fishy.” It offers no direct proof, but if presented to a grand jury, it would raise enough suspicion to warrant a trial for sure. (Won’t do it with this post as I don’t want this to be blocked by FB). Other similar articles are also available, each with a completely different angle of anomalies to consider.

I am not buying the scorecard that shows a hole in one on every hole. I wonder how a judge could be convinced in such a scenario?

Or would a judge simply tell me that I must accept the results?

So far, it seems as if that has been the case. And I find it as disturbing as it is absurd.

Sheila Kuehl of LA Supervisor Fame joins the #IDIOT list

By frequent contributor The Chief

You can’t make this up, actually that phrase has gotten old with all the Democrat electeds breaking their own Covid rules, but here is yet another embarrassing situation. Sheila Kuehl is a democrat supervisor from LA County. As you might recall, she voted to shutdown all dining operations in LA on Tuesday of last week. The vote carried 3-2, and as such all outdoor dining had to cease. I guess this would be ok if there was science or you know, facts to back this up…but there are none, as noted in this space about a week ago. Let’s see what Sheila did the DAY AFTER SHE VOTED TO SHUT DOWN DINING.

“She did dine al fresco at Il Forno on the very last day it was permissible. She loves Il Forno, has been saddened to see it, like so many restaurants, suffer from a decline in revenue. She ate there, taking appropriate precautions, and sadly will not dine there again until our Public Health Orders permit.”

LA County Supervisor dines at restaurant hours after voting to ban outdoor dining

See that folks, ole Sheila couldn’t help herself and dined out the very following day. Check out some statements she made during the remarks portion prior to her vote, these are some doozy’s….

During Tuesday’s L.A. County Board of Supervisors meeting, Kuehl referred to outside dining as “a most dangerous situation” over what she described as a risk of tables of unmasked patrons potentially exposing their servers to the coronavirus.

This is a serious health emergency and we must take it seriously,” Kuehl said.

The servers are not protected from us, and they’re not protected from their other tables that they’re serving at that particular time, plus all the hours in which they’re working.”

Wow, imagine being that lacking of self-awareness. She literally dined out the day after, at her favorite place. Re-read her thoughts again, and notice she seemed very concerned with the servers not being protected. Looks like multiple restaurant owners in LA are less than impressed…

Michael Voltaggio is a local restaurant owner who is stunned by Kuehl’s decision.

“That sends a message that we’re getting direction from people that aren’t really believing in messages they’re making,” he said.

Voltaggio tells FOX 11, “For me it’s just proof of the continuous hypocrisy and just the lack of leadership and education as to what’s happening right now in this sort of shoot from the hip mentality that’s not doing anybody any good.”

Josiah Citrin also owns multiple restaurants across L.A. County.

Citrin said, “I’m like wait a minute, restaurants are so dangerous, but you’re gonna go eat in a restaurant? I mean it just blows me away.”

We tried to warn you here that these shutdowns have nothing to do with Covid or death, and everything to do with government putting their hands on the scale. This is so sad to see. Kuehl and other electeds have access to better healthcare than us, an army of lobbyists with whom they can milk for cash, and connections we can only dream of having. Both her and Newsom put out laws and decided that they were exempt. Not only is this a disastrous look, it makes folks lose faith in their leaders. Want to know why Covid is spreading? Look to these two idiots first. Reality is neither will likely lose an election, supervisor is a glorified city council membership, and Governor of a state like CA comes down to how bad they will wallop the GOP candidate, so no cause for concern.

Just shows it pays to be in government. Also Kuehl is a very ugly human being; making her even easier to spot while out. Hope you enjoyed your meal supervisor; I heard your next course is a plate of crow.

Editor’s note:
Sheila Kuehl has been like this all her life. She is one of the worst enemies of the unborn ever to serve in the state legislature. If she’s willing to use your tax dollars to kill a few million unborn Californians, why are we surprised when she throws almost a million more under the economic bus to be ground-up under her tyrannical heal?

Liberal Democrats from LA Agree with us?

Hell hath frozen over. The apocalypse may actually be happening. I woke up and read an article about Covid closures this AM and blood almost shot out of my eyes. That or I thought perhaps my bottled water was really a bottle of the sacrament provided by the “Drunken Jedi.”

Folks the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors met last night about enforcing a “zero dining” rule for all restaurants due to the Covid pandemic. Local Health director Barbara Ferrer another worthless government hack who hasn’t seen a patient in decades was defending shutting down all dining, outdoor included to stem the positive tests for Covid. She backed it up with a CDC study listed below….

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health admitted during a Board of Supervisor’s meeting Tuesday that there is no hard scientific evidence linking the recent COVID-19 surge to back up their move to shut down outdoor dining.

In laying out the department’s case to proceed with the recently proposed restrictions set to take effect on Wednesday, Dr. Muntu Davis said that restaurant-specific contact tracing data around the coronavirus was scarce, “as a public health department we have to look at the highest risks, and where we can reduce those risks,” adding that restaurants fit the high-risk category.

Instead of specific data, the health official cited a CDC study that targeted 11 different outpatient healthcare facilities in 10 states as the “best information we have.” The study found that those patients with COVID-19 were twice as likely to have dined out at a restaurant.

Los Angeles Dept of Public Health admits no science link between outdoor dining, COVID-19 spike

Yes, you read that correctly, the LA department of public health admitted the study is bunk. Imagine using a study where people weren’t asked if they dined in or outdoors, just if they dined? Remember Janice Hanh? She is a former congresswoman and a very liberal one at that, she weighed in……

Supervisor Janice Hahn noted she had never seen the type of community pushback that the board has been hearing and noted that the public is “really losing faith and trust in the decisions that we’re making.” She questioned why the Department of Public Health wouldn’t just target restaurants not following the rules rather than prohibiting all outdoor dining.

That’s right folks, Hahn says the people are losing faith in their government officials, she is starting to sound like William and I.

Gavin Newsom at the French Laundry restaurant with lobbyists 11/06/2020

Check out Supervisor Chair Kathryn Barger’s take…….

Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors chair Kathryn Barger argued during the meeting that without firm data showing that restaurants are specifically a leading cause in the spike in COVID-19 cases, she “cannot in good conscience” support the proposed modification to shut down outdoor dining on Wednesday.

“I feel that what is happening today is truly going to devastate not only the workers but their families,” Barger added, saying that she felt the closures were “arbitrary and punitive.”

Barger also said she believes public health panicked when the county’s case numbers began to rise, and that the order is simply a “knee-jerk reaction to something that has no scientific backing to show that we are going to slow the spread.”

“If anything, we have basically put a final nail in many of these restaurants coffins,” she added.

While she is disappointed in the outcome, Barger said that she knows she did the right thing to push back against the order and fight for an industry that “is being targeted unfairly and and is being subjected to really unfair practice.”

In actuality I think Barger is a republican but Hahn is very liberal, and she added even more….

Hahn, who was also disappointed by the outcome, stressed the need for federal financial intervention.

“It’s killing me to think that at this point, a few weeks before the holidays, we are considering an order to force restaurants to maybe shut down permanently. We know they will lay off employees if they are restricted to takeout and curbside only,” she said. “I really don’t think that’s something I want to do… We are careening down another economically tragic road.”

The Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation has predicted that approximately 700,000 jobs in the food industry would be lost during the county’s shutdown, and 75% of all projected job losses would affect people earning $50,000 or less.

While William and I oppose a federal government bailout, sadly with the “election” of Joe Biden, we will see many a blue state, county, city, and municipality approach him hat in hand for a bailout. We do not know the outcome, but I do not think there will be much of a stomach for congress to do this. Folks this underscores what William and I have believed since day 1, this has nothing to do with science, it has to do with politics. The government has strangled local businesses, big and small, look at Disney’s parks in Southern California? Wouldn’t a better take be to allow indoor, with masks and distancing, outdoor, and take out? Rather than a shutdown of all operations other than takeout? Have health service staff check on local businesses to make sure distancing, masks, cleaning etc. are being followed? I guess add a punitive option for violations. We are at a loss for words here at the blog, all we can say is stop watching so much cable people. This shutdown is based on nothing but irrational thoughts from folks who haven’t a clue about how economics work. I thought we had a team of contact tracers. How come they can’t do their work and find out where the spread is occurring from? The restaurants are being unfairly targeted. Wait until after 12/31 folks when the real Armageddon starts. Businesses will no longer want to “try to keep afloat” stores will close, and the eviction moratorium will need to be lifted. Were sorry but another round of treasury department loans and $1,200 checks ain’t gonna cut it. Look for massive economic decay soon, perhaps the best thing to come out of this is some people’s true colors; Madame Pelosi, Comrade Newsome and the Duchess of Lansing, Whitmer as well as the 90-Day Guy took a big hit. Pelosi getting a hair blowout, Newsom dining at the French Laundry, Whitmer wanting to take her boat out, and 90-Day Guy for exposing himself as a pro government shutdown liberal.

Navdeep Gill is in Verydeep Trouble

By frequent contributor “The Chief”

They say a fish rots from the headfirst, and in Sacramento County that proves to be true. Navdeep “Nav” Gill was hired back in 2016 as county executive or CEO. He is in charge of overseeing all county’s operations, doling out budget dollars and other things government workers do like monitoring incompetence and making sure it gets rewarded. Well Mr. Gill has had a rough few weeks. This started about 2 weeks ago with Supervisors Serna and Kennedy (no relation to the political family I am aware of) urging Gill to resign during a meeting, explosive allegations followed.

Here is a snippet….

A letter from the Board Chair Phil Serna and District 2 Supervisor Patrick Kennedy was addressed to Navdeep “Nav” Gill on Tuesday. The missive comes after a County employee tested positive for COVID-19, following an in-person meeting led by Gill a week ago where attendees did not wear masks or face coverings. The County heavily touted the measure among the best ways to prevent spreading the virus. Other staffers have been told to quarantine.

“As you are well aware, we have had as a board and individually, several difficult conversations of late calling into question your patterned behavior and questionable leadership and decision making,” the letter reads.

“The events of the past few days, as well as hearing from county staff, have elevated our concerns,” it continues.

Gill has been on the hot seat since August when the public learned that he had given the bulk of the federal money the County received to respond to the coronavirus pandemic for Corrections expenses. The fact that the Board of Supervisors seemed unaware of the move did not sit well.

Supervisors Call For Nav Gill’s Resignation

That is not exactly great news right there. Say what you want about a face covering mandate but if you are a government agency whose board mandated it, you need to comply. Worse yet is if a member of said meeting pops positive for the ‘rona. I reached out to a friend who was at the meeting, Gill made fun of folks wearing a mask, and while Gill wasn’t wearing one, he was conveniently 10 feet from the next closest person in the meeting while the others were shoulder to shoulder almost. Nice guy this Gill fellow!

Gill said after lots of spiritual reflection he would not resign from his post. I cannot name too many who choose to resign in government, its far better to be fired so you can collect the remainder of your contract, the City of Elk Grove knows a lot about that.

Then a letter was presented to the board from Dr. Olivia Kasirye and other women in the county government and quite frankly it’s pretty damning.

“Over the years, County Executive Gill has created a toxic culture rife with sexism, intimidation, racism, and a blatant disregard for public health,” the letter begins. “We can no longer stand by and allow Nav Gill to operate with impunity as he has done for years as such behavior only hurts the residents of our beloved county.”

The document summarizes instances in which women, particularly women of color, felt they were singled out for abuse. The letter said women leaders in the agency have abruptly resigned because of sexist behavior, and some staff members were retaliated against after speaking up about their experiences.

What’s more, the letter says, county staff members were ridiculed for wearing masks during department meetings. The letter also accused Gill of making disparaging remarks about people of color and using racial slurs during department head meetings.

Nav Gill, Sacramento County CEO, put on paid leave after ‘toxic culture’ accusations

Ummm, Navdeep is Indian or so it appears. Why in God’s name is this moron criticizing people of color or disparaging women in the Year of Our Lord 2020? This guy must not know how to read the environment or read a room, those behaviors are out and out fire able. Here is another damning quote:

“With regard to Nav, it’s not just a personnel matter which of course are extremely important to get to the bottom of,” Serna said. “But this is also about his history of behavior and how he treats the board. For me, he’s been dismissive, unwilling to perform follow through when he commits to it.” Phil Serna Chair Sac County Board of Supervisors.

I just do not understand what in the heck has happened to this county! First you have racist Dr. Beilenson, and now this jackwagon? While I am no fan of his politics, Serna and Kennedy are both far left Democrats, they seem to agree this guy should be gone. As far as I am concerned, take racist Beilenson with him. These two are a disgrace, funny both are accused of racism right? This fish stinks and its best to get rid of both. Problem is, to can Navdeep, you need 4/5 voting to remove. I would call Don Nottoli a swing vote, Susan Peters is retiring so she could be the 4th vote. Susan Frost looks lost. She has gone as far as to support Gill saying this are unsubstantiated. I am sorry supervisor but when quite a number of folks are accusing you of the same thing that’s a lot of smoke to have no fire present.

Terminate them all….or as Jon Taffer would say “Shut it the F*** Down!”

How Much Voter Fraud is Enough to Matter?

The election was competitive. The incumbent Democrat had never had such a serious challenger before. As results started coming in an hour after the polls had closed, the Republican challenger began to amass a small lead. This lead grew to a few thousand votes and held steady for many hours. At about 1:30 AM, a vehicle carrying the last of the ballots arrived from the most liberal part of the district, ten miles from the county seat. Suddenly, the incumbent was saved and won his reelection by three percent.

Why it took most of the votes to being counted before these last-minute ballots arrived five and a half hours after the polls closed and from a precinct only ten miles away nobody seriously questioned. I happen to spend election night with that particular Republican Congressional candidate as we saw his lead evaporate due to the late arrival of these ballots. Oh, lest you thought this was just weeks ago, it was in 1994.

The Sith Lord once resided in the same town that I referenced in the incident above. He too observed conditions that seemed ripe for voter fraud. A few election cycles after the account that I described above; he had this experience. In the place where he was residing, he had had no upstairs neighbor for the previous 18 months. As the election drew near, he discovered that somehow county elections reported that 19 people, using the address of this empty apartment, were registered to vote.

Oh, the head of county elections during both these incidents, was proud that his daughter was an intern in the Clinton White House. If he happened to help his party preserve a Congressional seat, its just his public service.

I’m sure many of you have heard of similar stories in the past. Heck, up until this election, Chicago’s dead vote for JFK was the gold standard in voter fraud.

If you haven’t been paying attention, this is a big reason that Democrats hate purging voter rolls.

Fraud Alert

That there was voter fraud in, under, and around the November 3, 2020 election is an indisputable fact. The question is not whether there was voter fraud but was it egregious enough to give several key states to Donald J Trump?

Let me answer it this way; if you’re a Trump Hater/Biden supporter because you hate Trump, then you should be very nervous right now.

Folks there was voter fraud by individuals, as there often is, and also by organized groups. What’s new in this election is that over 30 states had voting machines connected to the Internet. Yep, ever since Bush v Gore, we were promised that our elections were safe from hacking because the voting machines were not on the Internet, well not anymore. Every time someone has a hack-a-thon for voter machines, some 15-year-old kid gets in and manipulates results and we are assured that it can’t happen in real life…except it does. Now we learn that many states (over 30) bought voting machines from a Canadian company that has such a great reputation that Canada won’t use their products. Yep, they are a shell company used by third world dictatorships (Venezuela) to insure that after ballots are cast electronically, that the votes can be changed. Yes, the software is designed so that votes can be changes at the precinct level, at the overseas counting facilities—yes votes are routed to other countries before being sent to your Secretary of State—and then at the State level. These functions are the purpose of the counting system and built into the software. The software is also very buggy and has trouble keeping track of actual votes even with no user intervention.

I don’t know if President Trump and his team will prevail in court as judges are traditionally very risk averse and avoid controversy by taking a pass on “political” determinations but I can’t think of a better argument to have the federal government create a standardized vote ID system and procedures for use in national elections involving Constitutional officers.

Oh, Trump’s other venue to judicial relief is to have courts rule that Secretary’s of State can’t make changes to state election law by decree but election law can only be changes by lawmakers.

I think Trump will ultimately prevail in Georgia and Pennsylvania but that is not enough to win reelection. The question is can he pick up another state where votes were manipulated?

Oh, I case you missed it, here’s a few articles on and related to voter fraud this year.

Peter Beilenson is a Racist?

No one likes this clown. 30 years in the business, mostly with Baltimore County in Maryland, then suddenly he moves to little Sacramento, CA? I do not think so. They call this “passing the trash” when it comes to moving around bad teachers in the local school district. Are we to believe this guy is so qualified he would move across country to Sacramento to give us his expertise? I doubt it.

At the Sacramento County Supervisor meeting yesterday, while the board was debating a resolution declaring racism a public health crisis in Sacramento County, Beilenson blurted-out this gem

This is a major area of interest from public health in general and it’s a crucial thing we’re doing to address, the issues of the African American and brown and yellow folks in our country as well as the white folks,” (KCRA3 news)

Top Sac County health official on using racial slur during meeting: ‘I was literally on the spot’

Yes folks, he referred to Asian Americans as “yellow” a racist term used years ago to describe east Asian people. Not to be deterred when later interviewed by KCRA, Beilenson tripled down on his racism, check out this exchange….

I was in the midst of lumping together a bunch of different folks — brown people, yellow people, white people — and did not realize at the time that was an insensitive comment. I have since realized that and obviously will not use that comment again,” he said.

I guess it surprised me that it would have been new information to you that the word–,” Lambert said.

It’s not new information that it’s used, that it should not be used. That is something that I have known quite well. I was literally on the spot, I was running through the different types of people — again, brown, yellow, white, etc. — and just inappropriately lumped in the ‘yellow’ term,” he said. “I realize that’s an issue in terms of everything back to the railroad times and the 1850s as well as more recently as well in terms of the Manzanar and other camps and a whole range of things. Again, I apologize profusely. This has never happened in my 30 years of a public health official, and I would certainly not use that term in the future.”

Idiot Dr. Beilenson was not “on the spot” and looking at how those words rolled off his tongue he uses that word quite often. He seems to know the origin of that word quite well for someone who throws it around freely.

Dr. Beilenson needs to go, hopefully back to Baltimore where his racism will likely not be nearly as well received by the locals there. Beilenson is a failure both at life and in medicine, solid qualifications Dr Failenson!

Oh, btw I will be highlighting Sac County Executive Navdeep Gill’s racism next week, I say we throw both out.

Biden Offers Republicans Olive Branch

Joe Biden has offered an olive branch of sorts to some Republicans in the Trump Administration. Biden has offered to retain most of the Republican women currently employed in the White House for his first term.

When surprised reporters got wind of this news, they queried the presumptive President Elect. Biden replied that Trump’s White House has employed more women than any other Administration in U.S. history. Joe conceded that Trump’s women are a much better-looking lot than their Democrat counterparts. Turns out Republican women bathe regularly, have better smelling hair, dress sharper, and are more polite than the feminazis in his own Party.

When told of Biden’s comments, a shell-shocked Nancy Pelosi responded that Joe probably misspoke but further comment would have to wait because she was busy defending her position as Speaker.

An indignant Kamala Harris said there was no place for Republicans in her White House or her country. On a hot mike, she was also heard to reference sometime about “more soma” and “twenty-five … mints”

Most surprising of all was the praise given to Biden by radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh who praised Biden’s honesty, bipartisanship, and his confirmation of Undeniable Truth of Life #24.

Oh, Limbaugh’s Undeniable Truth of Life #24 Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society.

In these troubling times, we are striving to Keep Hope Alive (and gainfully employed).

Johnnie Does: CA Covid Disaster Continues

With the election in the rear-view mirror we can hopefully begin to look forward to a return to normalcy right? Not so fast! New restrictions have been levied by Governors and Mayors all over the country in regard to “spiking” COVID-19 rates. I use air quotes because this is an infectious disease and is transmittable in ways that we cannot pin-point yet. I can back that statement up by saying we have no idea how this thing is passed from one person to another, we are relying on doctors who have seen no patients to speculate.

Take this example, Sacramento County has now shuttered indoor gyms, dining and church services, saying the virus is being spread at those venues. But where is the proof? These so-called contact tracers? How can they be sure as to where the spread occurred? I have witnessed a Starbucks close for a deep cleaning, but I wouldn’t call that indoor dining! I have yet to see a gym close down for cleaning due to COVID. In all fairness, a church in Dixon was responsible for a breakout of the virus but why must the entire flock be punished for the mistakes of a couple sheep? If one restaurant had a cockroach infestation, do we shut down Restaurants County wide? Nope.

How come it’s a blanket policy when it has to do with a virus? How come folks were allowed to protest Trump or celebrate a Biden victory in large groups, yet the folks who actually love this country could not? Folks can still congregate by the river in this county and have house parties, yet we shut down people’s livelihood? Is this really America? Are we just going to open and close down as we seem fit? Are we actually going to come up with real rules? As in a bar can’t serve chips and salsa to skirt the re-opening laws? The problem is the rules are not uniform and were put together willy-nilly leading to businesses finding ways to get around it.

Things are getting bad and will keep getting worse, there is no two ways around this. Further lockdowns and stimulus are coming, likely another round of bailouts as well. We have a moratorium on evictions in place and that will likely be extended as well. I know several folks who are not paying rent, and quite a few who received forbearance on their mortgage. This may be all well and good from a consumer point of view but what about businesses? Entire industries are teetering on the brink of destruction. Don’t believe me? The retail apocalypse will be here just after Christmas shopping season, if covid doesn’t kill it first. Visit a mall, its eerie. Restaurants shutting down mean more wait staff out of jobs, they won’t be needed in large numbers. Most family run businesses will shut down for good. Here is a sobering thought; in CA, even the least restrictive tier allows only 50% capacity. Yeah, and according to the Restaurant Association they need to be at 80% to roughly breakeven. Disney has laid off 28,000 from its operations, and they are still excluded from opening at all. Professional sports teams are losing millions, layoffs are occurring their as well, ditto for university athletic departments. Movie theatres are gasping for oxygen, retail appears dead. Wait until the music stops, I would be saving money not spending right now.

Who is to blame for this? The cable media/watchers, government workers and retirees. The first group grew this narrative of everyone dying due to the virus, the toothpaste came out of the tube, and as a result we had a narrative out of control. Government workers; Fauci, Beilenson, Sisson et al. decided we had a pandemic on our hands and that all sectors must be shut to stop the virus…. all while still collecting their salaries. The last group…. well they collect social security or other handouts when it rains, snows, or is sunny….so we all need to stay home! In the meantime, others are ruined financially and emotionally, the toll may never be known.

The good news is that during a public health crisis (the government’s words not mine) we shut down the gyms, and most dining at places to eat, yet the golf courses and Indian casinos can stay open? At least the 90-Day Guy can be happy.

God help us all!
