Why Democrats Should Vote for Trump

I could go into a lot of reasons why Democrats should vote for Trump but Democrats are not motivated by logic, facts, or reason so I will give a short synopsis and then explain why.

I know that some games with economic statistics started under George W Bush but the fact is that the Obama Administration has been cooking the economic books for the full eight years of his term.

• Quantitative Easing has been artificially propping up the financial markets.
• The Federal Reserve has been propping up monetary policy but they have already said they will raise the Prime Rate after the election.
• Given that one in five American households have no one working and there are over 94 million adults that are no longer in the workforce out of a population of 308 million people (including children and senior citizens) do you really believe that unemployment is only five percent?
• Economic growth under Obama has never been above 3 percent Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in any fiscal quarter of his presidency—this is the first time in US history
• The auto loan market is in a financial bubble that is ready to burst (Americans owe over one trillion dollars in auto loans)
• The student loan debt is also over one trillion dollars
• Job creation under Obama is less than the number of college graduates entering the works force and has been for all eight years of his administration
• 36 percent of young people between 24 and 31 are still living at home
• Taxes, fees, and regulations have grown significantly under Obama
• Pension plans nationwide are trillions of dollars underfunded (one trillion just in California—State, County, and Local governments)
• Medicare and Social Security are facing insolvency in the next few years

This is only the tip of the statistical iceberg but you get the point, the house of cards will collapse sooner or later. You’ve had a good deal under Obama—or so you think—but the bills are about to come due.

We also learned from Democrats that capitalizing on disaster and tragedy is a cornerstone of how they operate. Spinning a crisis into political advantage is part of their playbook.

Here is your golden opportunity to do both. A vote for Trump is really a vote for future Democrat officeholders. Why? Because the economic system in the country needs a correction. Whichever party is in power when it happens will get the blame and you don’t want your guy (or in this case girl) in office when the stuff hits the fan. Trump can get the blame, fix it and then the next Democrat can ride the economic crisis all the way to the White House. If your Party spins it right then your guys could be in power for the next 16 years or better. Frankly, this might be a good reason to vote a strait Republican ticket. If Republicans own the Congress and Presidency then there is no way blame will go to your Party. In the long run you’ll be better for the experience.

Trust me, you want Trump when the economy takes a dump.

A Prayer for the Election

Last Sunday, I was tasked with doing the congregational prayer. Below is a prayer that I wrote and used concerning the upcoming election. I think that Dave Ramsey would approve this message.  wink

Proverbs 21: 1
The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will.

A Prayer for the Election

Oh Lord who has foreordained all according to your will, we ask that as our country prepares to cast ballots that the outcome would be to move our nation to repentance and restoration to fellowship with you. Help voters to see through myriad of disinformation and empty promises made to them and not choose to burden future generations with debt and slavery in exchange for our leisure today.  Instead help us to choose the path of thrift and honest labor that we may have an inheritance to give to our children’s children. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Hillary, God, and the Election

I get several newsletters in my email, but none is as much fun to read as the one I get from Joe Miller. Miller is from Alaska and has run twice for US Senate. Some content is written by Miller while other articles are contributed by others. This article appeared today and concerns the election. Here are a few paragraphs from the story. I think the author (Steve Deace) is correct and I recommend that you read the whole thing.

Hillary Clinton’s Continuing Email Saga Reminds Us That God Is God, and We Are Not

This presidential election is a painful reminder of this truth. For it is being driven not by substantive issues that will really determine the future of our nation for the next four years, but by this very principle. Three men — Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and now Anthony Weiner — and their unrestrained sexual appetites are going to play the biggest roles in the outcome on November 8th. Not the candidates’ positions on real issues.

Because try as we might, and pretend as we so often do, the real issue has always been character.

…This election is nothing more than that age-old story. Wars have been fought over the unrestrained sexual appetites of men. Like when a face once launched a thousand ships.

…Yet, here we are in the final days before another important election. Caught in the Bermuda Triangle of three men’s genitals, with literally the immediate future of the country at stake.

…But even more than they need accountability, they need forgiveness. Not from us, but from God. The forgiveness they must seek for themselves. We should pray they will seek it, so they can learn as I have that mercy triumphs over judgment. That God’s grace doesn’t mean we escape accountability, but gives us the character to accept it and then the strength to overcome our weaknesses. To be better than we are, and we ever could be on our own.

Christian leaders like Billy Graham used to deliver this message to our politicians, which is why they were often friends to those in power regardless of party. Unfortunately, in this election, it seems as if Christian leaders have delivered every message but this one. How many Christian leaders do you believe are hoping to politically capitalize on the failings of these three men rather than do anything to help them sincerely repent and be truly restored?

Accomplishments of Hillary Clinton In Her Own Words

My son is struggling at school with the fact that so many students at his supposedly Christian school are strongly supporting Hillary Clinton. The school is sponsored by a denomination that is proudly prolife and supports traditional marriage and prohibits homosexuals in the pulpit. The theological disconnect between the denomination and the student body (and therefore the parents since children reflect the views of their parents) on these issues is troubling.

My solution was simple, ask the kids rooting for Hillary to name three of her accomplishments. As expected, none could name one. The closest any kid got was trying to say she improved the economy over the last year. When my son told me this I laughed and said, “She’s been unemployed for the last year so how could she improve the economy?”

It was in this context that I saw this on Facebook the other day and it got me to wondering, did she really say this?

“My accomplishments as Secretary of State? Well, I’m glad you asked! My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most pride, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know. the remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that and I’m proud of that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.”

– Hillary Clinton 11 March 2014

Could someone please tell me what the hell she just said? And she may be running for President?
Link: Moral Matters-Clinton Explains Accomplishments

Snopes says no way did she say this and a web search has difficulty turning this quote up; however, Snopes has been proven to be in the tank for Hillary and is known to lie to benefit her due to their political leanings being more important than the truth.  We have proven repeatedly on my blog that the Internet is scrubbed to remove damning things about politicians and others, hence my reference to 1984 earlier this month.

Snopes’ rebuttal came on July 30, 2014 but I did find the exact quote along with several others in an article dated July 10, 2014. Please note the differences in the quote below. The use of the ellipsis in the quote is important.

Yesterday, without any introduction, I had my son look at the Facebook quote and even he—at aged 11—noticed that some words were missing. He asked me why some sentences started with lower case letters. The quote below will answer this question.

“My accomplishments as Secretary of State? Well, I’m glad you asked! My proudest accomplishment in which I take the most pride, mostly because of the opposition it faced early on, you know… the remnants of prior situations and mindsets that were too narrowly focused in a manner whereby they may have overlooked the bigger picture and we didn’t do that and I’m proud of that. Very proud. I would say that’s a major accomplishment.”
Link: Quiners Diner-Ms Clinton what are your accomplishments

It appears that this is a more accurate rendering of the original. Based on what I know of the Internet, English grammar, and other things Clinton said during the same time period, I must conclude this quote is genuine.

Here are some other quotes from Clinton from the same timeframe in 2014.

Look, I spent four years traveling the world on behalf of the United States. I went to 112 countries, nearly a million miles, all the statistics, and I came away from that experience even more confident and positive about our model, about our potential. I don’t want to sound chauvinistic, but I was very proud to represent the United States.

Diane Sawyer asked Hillary Clinton what significant things did she accomplish during her four years as Secretary of State?
Clinton “didn’t even attempt to answer the question. She just changed the subject.”
Link: Hillary can’t name Top Accomplishment As Secretary of State

Toward the end, Friedman turned to Clinton and said: “When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of, and what do you feel was unfinished, maybe love to have another crack at someday?”

Clinton and the audience laughed, because “another crack at someday” seemed an obvious back-door way of asking whether Clinton will run for president in 2016. But then she answered, and revealed something critically important about her intentions.

“Look, I really see my role as secretary, and in fact, leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race,” Clinton said. “I mean, you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton. Some of what hasn’t been finished may go on to be finished …”

The answer seemed to concede that there is no single, momentous thing Clinton can point to as having achieved during her years as the nation’s top diplomat.
Link: Clinton rambles about accomplishments

I did a search on another speech that Clinton gave and I can’t find a single Liberal leaning website with a transcript of Hillary’s speech to the Women of the World Summit in New York City in 2014. There are a few links to YouTube videos but not a transcript that is easily obtainable. This paragraph was widely circulated at the time.

“We had the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, we had two wars. We had continuing threats from all kinds of corners around the world that we had to deal with. So it was a perilous time frankly. What he said to me was, ‘Look, I have to be dealing with the economic crisis, I want you to go out and represent us around the world.’ And it was a good division of labor because we needed to make it clear to the rest of the world, that we were going to get our house in order. We were going to stimulate, and grow, and get back to positive growth and work with our friends and partners.”
Link: Hillary struggles to name accomplishments

The bottom line is Clinton has no accomplishments that she can name so it’s no surprise that neither can those who vote for her. She’s just an empty pantsuit.

Reason Number 10,292 to Follow the Constitution

Last weekend I had the rare opportunity to teach Sunday school at my church. Part of the topic touched on the US Constitution. If you thought only the Second Amendment was getting ignored then perhaps you need to read past the Preamble and dive into it further.  I spoke on two areas that have never had any definitive court cases. Yes, there really are parts of the Constitution that have zero precedents. Today, I wish to discuss one.

As you know, the Constitution requires a census to be done every ten years. The purpose of the census is to determine representation in the House of Representatives.

Article I Section 2 reads:
“The actual Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct.”

Most children in government schools can tell you this much but did you know there is more that is required?

If you really want to rock your world, read the next sentence:

“The Number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand…”

Let that sink in for a moment. One for every 30,000 people!

Folks this section has never been amended. It is literally still the letter of The Law.

So how did we get to 435 members in the House?

Here’s the rest of the story.

The first House of Representatives had only 65 members. The number of seats in the House was expanded to 105 members after the 1790 Census, and then to 142 members after the 1800 head count. The law that set the current number of seats at 435 took effect in 1913.

There are still 435 members of the House of Representatives a century later because of the Permanent Apportionment Act of 1929, which set that number in stone.
Link: Why are there 435 members of the House

(The number was actually set at 433 members but two were added when Alaska and Hawaii were admitted to the Union.)

So as a result of F.D.R. type Constitutional understanding, we have yet another part of the Constitution that was stood-up on its ear. Congress just waved a magic wand and made a Constitutional requirement disappear. No amendment, no fuss, just poof!

So where would we be if we followed the Constitution? Glad you asked.

Per the 2010 census the US population was 308,745,538

At one representative per 30,000 people, how many would be elected to Congress?

10,291.52 which rounds up to 10,292 members of Congress. The actual number of House members would be slightly more because the population is unevenly distributed across 50 states.

So if you want responsive government at affordable campaign prices, just follow the Constitution. Wow, what a concept.

Just in Time for Halloween: SEIU Strike Vote

The dystopian worldview of the Service Employee’s International Union has finally caused them to ratchet-up their rhetoric and call for a strike authorization vote.

Yes exactly one week after they supposedly returned to the bargaining table with the State, they pulled the trigger on the vote. I have a few unanswered questions:
• What changed between June and October that they thought the State would negotiate?
• Did they really meet?
• What did the State offer?

None of these questions was answered; instead we get a tale of “two cities”.

On one hand, California is the 6th largest economy in the world and has a projected $11.5 billion surplus this year.

On the other hand, a staggering 39% of our members cannot afford a two-bedroom apartment in the county they live in.

And in most parts of the state, our members cannot afford childcare.

Even more alarming is the gender pay inequity we’re facing.

Our union is predominately women (66% female, 34% male). Yet we are paid 19% less than the average for all rank-and-file state employees. The state has made deals with male-dominated state worker groups that include wages 43% higher than our average pay.

Like all Californians, we should be able to provide for our families. Yet, the state is offering us only 2.96% per year with a 3.5% employee contribution to our retiree healthcare.

Link: SEIU reasons for vote

Our intention is to continue to negotiate in good faith on all remaining terms, but both sides have to act in good faith. When the state’s conduct doesn’t meet this standard – on livable wages and benefits – we must prepare for all options.

Link: SEIU Vote

The voting period is scheduled to be October 31 to November 11.
(In my world these dates are known as Reformation Day to Veteran’s Day.)

Oh, even though I work for the State, I don’t get a vote, I just get to involuntarily contribute to the union as a condition of my employment.

As a taxpayer, you should have taken Nagan’s Offer but since you didn’t, they’re coming for ALL your stuff.

Trick or Treat California.

Facebook and Censorship

I have a friend that had his Facebook account frozen in 2012 for supporting traditional marriage. Most of his posts were about his family but some were admonishing the Church to do its job and not compromising on biblical values. The account is still frozen and since then he created two more pages, one is Free Rev X’s webpage and the other is his initials.

Some people that I know recently released a movie favorable to the Second Amendment called Targeted. Their posts about the movie were routinely blocked and deleted by Facebook. How can you use social media for publicity when they delete your point of view just because of the subject matter?

Facebook has no ombudsman or contact email to appeal, they just ban and then you’re toast.

Lest you think this is an isolated couple of cases, the following excerpts will prove enlightening. Both articles quoted below are related but each is worth reading in their own right. As you’re reading, remember that Michael Savage’s mantra is borders, language, and culture; so is Donald Trump’s.

Trump and Facebook

“Some of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s posts on Facebook have set off an intense debate inside the social media company over the past year,” The Wall Street Journal reports. Some employees argued that “certain posts about banning Muslims from entering the U.S. should be removed for violating the site’s rules on hate speech, according to people familiar with the matter.”

In the end, those employees did not prevail: “The decision to allow Mr. Trump’s posts went all the way to Facebook Inc. Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg, who ruled in December that it would be inappropriate to censor the candidate.”

The story the goes on to state:

The implication would seem to be that there is one standard for presidential candidates and another for ordinary Facebook users. Had you published exactly the same proposal and somebody complained, Facebook might have censored you.

Link: Facebook and Free Speech: They won’t censor Trump but might censor you

Here’s another incident of Facebook censorship

Although the post doesn’t mention it specifically, much of this feedback likely came as a result of a recent incident in which Facebook deleted posts containing an iconic Vietnam War image of 9-year-old Kim Phuc running down the road naked after her village was bombed.

Not only did Facebook delete the original image after a Norwegian newspaper editor uploaded it as part of a series on war photography, but the site deleted the editor’s post about the deletion as well. It then blocked his account, and even deleted a post by Norway’s prime minister, who protested Facebook’s censorship of the image.

Link: Facebook Says It Still Isn’t a Media Company Despite Deciding What’s Newsworthy

Activists and political dissidents are also familiar with having their posts and even their accounts disappear from Facebook without warning. Investigative journalist Eliot Higgins has talked about how Facebook’s deletion of pages about violence in Syria has prevented journalists like him from collecting important information about the war there.

Link: Facebook Says It Still Isn’t a Media Company Despite Deciding What’s Newsworthy

Facebook is willing to censor the Prime Minister of Norway and wishes in could censor Trump and those that agree with him; only when they get embarrassed by bad publicity do they back down from their Liberal bent. For their corporate culture, it’s more important to not be offended by hearing contrary views than to allow the free exchange of ideas.

How WikiLeaks Got Hillary’s Stuff?

The Department of Defense has issued a warning not to use any Lenovo computers on their networks.

Lenovo is the personal computing division that IBM sold to the Chinese several years ago. A simple web search on Lenovo will turn up results like those quoted below.

On Friday the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee wrote to the FBI warning that secrets stored on former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s private email server may have been compromised by a Clinton aide’s use of a Lenovo computer.

Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R., Va.) stated in a letter to FBI Director James Comey that Heather Samuelson, former White House liaison to the State Department, used two Lenovo laptops to sort some of the thousands of classified emails from Clinton’s server.

“Lenovo computers, and specifically the models used by Heather Samuelson for reviewing classified emails, have been shown by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to contain software, dating back to 2010, that permits remote hacking attacks,” Goodlatte stated.

Two years ago Chinese firm Lenovo got banned from supplying equipment for networks of the intelligence and defense services various countries due to hacking and spying concerns.

Earlier this year, Lenovo was caught red-handed for selling laptops pre-installed with Superfish malware.

One of the most popular Chinese computer manufacturers ‘Lenovo’ has been caught once again using a hidden Windows feature to preinstall unwanted and unremovable rootkit software on certain Lenovo laptop and desktop systems it sells.

Ever when users reinstalled a clean version of Windows on some Lenovo devices, the software would reappear.

The rootkit Superfish seems to have been written by a company called Komodia and is designed to break SSL encryption and inject web advertising into your browsing session.

The bottom line is that if your device is connected to the Internet then any information on it should be regarded as public. There is a private, military data system that is like a private Internet but that system is so locked down that more casual users don’t have access to it. Clearly a Secretary of State running a pay-to-play scam is not able to use it for her own enrichment. Instead she was stuck with using the public Internet.

Talking Dead and the Presidential Race

Yesterday, you read about the dead voting. Estimates are that over 4,000,000 fraudulent and/or fictitious voters—including the dead—will cast ballots in next month’s presidential election.

Here are a few references on the severity of voter fraud:

Like the deaths in Benghazi, Liberals don’t believe in voter fraud. No, to them its just a vast rightwing conspiracy.

However, today we have finally heard from The Dead. Yes, the dead are talking and they don’t sound very grateful.

Thanks to a street artist Sabo in L.A., The Walking Dead has entered into the Presidential election.
