One Man’s Mental Health Crisis

Readers, I am going to share my thoughts and opinions about one man’s mental health crisis. This is by no means a “painting with a broad brush” blog. I am merely pointing out how this crisis was caused by himself.

There is a friend of mine who is struggling to the point that he admitted to a doctor he had “picked out the knife” he was going to use to kill himself. As a result, he is on meds, seeing a counselor, and a psychiatrist. He is confused as to why. He also thinks this will be a short stay on the meds and appointments with others. What he fails to understand is in CA, you can sue anyone for anything, so especially when it comes to medical issues, everyone goes into CYA (cover your butt) mode. There is no easy way out and due to our lack of mental health facilities, all our society does is prescribe pills.

Enough about his issues, let us get to the root cause of this problem. It dates back about 2.5 years; you guessed it the start of Covid. He bought into the big lie being peddled by all news networks. The lie was we were all going to die, expect for a master race that would be avoiding Covid altogether. He hid inside his house and continued to consume more of this lying, even though it was being proven that folks were not dying en masse. It didn’t matter what was really happening, the folks on TV were saying otherwise. He tripped over people to get the vaccine, ditto for boosters and the like. This is even after seeing that the masses were not perishing in high numbers. He continued to watch the entire daytime and prime timeline up, concluding the lock downs must continue even though the numbers were likely being made up.

Recently he has changed his tune just like a certain cable network did toward Covid. It’s over and we better move on. He will even tell people he was never scared of Covid. Yet he still refused to flush the toilet at work, touch the doorknob, or let anyone stand near his desk. He doesn’t want me taking vacation anywhere because I may catch Covid, yet he attends casinos?

Long story short, he fell for the big lie. He cannot handle it. As a result, he pulls the mental health card, one he used to say was only pulled by the weak.

He cannot bear to watch his teams lose, he actually calls them his teams, yet he has no ownership stake or betting stake in them. Seriously, when they lose, he says he doesn’t want to talk about it, and he is depressed. Keep in mind this person is twice my age. When the 49ers lost the Super Bowl, he took a week off. The Giants are fading from the playoffs, yet he watches every pitch, every game, every day.

He has a reality issue. He thinks life is like a Disney Movie; the princess always gets the prince at the end no matter what. He can no longer separate real from fake. A game?!?!? Seriously?

He has pulled away from everyone and self-isolated. This has been a long time coming. His favorite pastimes are throwing folks under the bus and blaming folks who are not in the room to defend themselves. You should hear what he says about his golf crew behind their backs, you would think its mayhem on that course.

He has become the most price sensitive complainer I know. He gripes about everything, airfare, hotel rates, food, gas, … well except the gambling. All in all, he is bitter to be around, a wet blanket if you will.

To put a bow on this blog, I want to point out, I do think mental illness is real. It is a crisis; one we do not know how to deal with in a country that has become hyper-focused on name calling. The difference is he did this to himself. The number one cause of depression is isolation, a lie he bought into. He trusted Hannity, Tucker and Fauci. The lockdowns were needed, it was to weed out the weak. Sounds like he is having second thoughts on the upcoming booster? How come? You already hit your body with 4 jabs, what is one more? Prices going up? Well, that is a result of shutting things down, and now you have to pay a premium to hire folks to do those jobs. Another fact lost on him. Businesses were shut indefinitely, and it shows no signs of getting better. He never had the ability to understand you cannot put the toothpaste back into the tube. I think he feels he was lied to and conned by people he trusted; his “TV friends.”

Watching the TV for hours on end just makes things worse. 90% of that is negative, and its constantly negative. Worse, it’s on a continuous loop, so when one show ends another one starts and rehashes all the news. Watching more than 5 minutes could kill a man. This guy watches 10 plus hours a day. The TV viewing time is often extended longer by a steady diet of 3 plus hour baseball or football games. This is not the real world, it’s a fake fantasy.

He does not want to volunteer his time anywhere, nor does he want to get out of his house. Seeing another human is a wonderful thing, locking yourself in an echo chamber is not. Read a book, go outside, touch the grass, volunteer your time, get to a church.

Long and short, I hope he gets better but he refuses to change his ways. I see this self-destruction spiraling as he circles the drain lost in his delusions.

My Thoughts on Kiely Rodni’s Disappearance

Editor’s Note: I was sent this several days ago. At this point it may be m00t but I wanted to post it anyways.

Trigger warning: This article will share commentary, not fact, purely speculation about the disappearance of 16-year-old Kiely Rodni a couple of weeks ago. This may be disturbing to some readers; we recommend you find another article/site to click on.

Note: This is solely 1 person’s opinion, I hope I am wrong, and hope Rodni is found and returned home alive.

Kiely disappeared from a party in the Truckee area roughly 2 weeks ago, she is 16 years old. My understanding based on what I have read/seen is this was supposed to be a small party on Prosser Lake that took on a life of its own with between 200-300 folks in attendance. Sounds like a lot of drinking and drugs were present, and an age group ranging from early high school age to about 40-year-olds. A very eclectic mix indeed. Rodni texted her mother circa 11:30 pm saying she would be leaving in 45 minutes, she was never heard from again, her cell phone last pinged around 12:30 am. Her car also disappeared.

To be crystal clear we here at ReallyRight hope for her being found surviving, but this is where the story goes off the rails.

First, her boyfriend did not make the trip. After texting her that he was having a bad day (at 10:30) her only response was “sorry you are going through this.” Folks every couple I see is basically attached at the crotch these days. Seriously, the BF didn’t make the trip? Rodni didn’t seem too concerned about him looking at that text conversation.

Next let’s look at this statement from her friend

“I just want her to come back and be OK and just to know that she’s loved and that we all looked for her and that we all loved her through this and stuff,” Magdalene Larson said.

That is an awfully odd statement, we hope you come back, and that you are loved? Past tense?

Rodni’s best friend, Mags Larson, was also in attendance at the party but left shortly after arriving.

“She wasn’t in a state where she could have driven very far. She was inebriated,” she said, implying that Kiely must have been taken because they would have found her if she drove.

“We don’t know if it was someone who was attending the party or a predator,” she continued.

“We also don’t know if there’s someone she planned to go and meet who we don’t know about yet. It is a nightmare.”

So, the best friend abandons her shortly after the party started? We used to have a saying in college “bros before Hoes” for guys, “chicks before dicks” for ladies. This meant you never left someone behind at a party, period. Especially when drinking heavily. I’m sorry, this “friend” in my humble opinion knows far more then she is letting on. You do not leave a friend who is hammered at a party with a bunch of other people. Makes no sense. She left shortly after arriving, yet knew her friend was very drunk? Odd, nice friends you have Rodni.

Unless…

There is a massive cover up happening. Before completely writing this theory off hear me out. Turns out Rodni was wearing a couple different sweatshirts that night, one saying “Odd Future” another saying, “You do not want to be forgotten you just want to disappear.” Very odd choice of slogans for a teen attending a party with a bunch of total strangers. I think Rodni is alive. She met someone online and went to the party to meet up with them. Her BF appears aloof, and seemingly carefree. Her friends bounced out of the party like a jack in a box, leaving a drunk Kiely alone. I am not insinuating this is a hoax, I believe she ran off with someone, and I think her friends know damn good and well who. I think the hundreds of tips coming in are to throw the authorities off the scent. She had to have left the area, as her car is nowhere to be found. No clues about her disappearance are known either, just friends speaking in past tense about her.

Me thinks a couple of the friends are not even close to being forthcoming. I hope and pray Rodni is found alive, and I think she is.

Why?

No body, no car. There was a young girl abducted from Tennessee by her teacher and they were on the lam for about a month before they were found in rural northern California. I think something similar is going on here. I think Rodni knows the person, and I have my doubts about the abduction theory.

In closing, I hope she is found and returned home. I hold out hope as nothing material from any tip has been proven to lead to anything. No grown person, let alone their vehicle, disappears like a fart in the wind and no one notices. I would sweat her friends right now if I’m law enforcement. Just a bit of persuasion might break this case open.

Saint Stephon Clark the Martyr gets his Settlement

Thursday night on KCRA News, the outfit that brought you innocent black child gets “Rodney King’d” by white cops, had this doozy of a report about the deceased Stephon Clark. The City of Sacramento settled with Clark’s parents for the tidy sum of 1.7 million, this is in addition to the 2.4 million paid to his 2 children. Being shot by the police while being under the influence of every drug known to man, plus alcohol, plus domestic violence, threatening texts, and robbery pays well in this area. Trust me that 4.1 million is likely to be more than pretty much any middle-class family’s lifetime earnings.

Here are some highlights from the “report.”

On Friday evening, Clark’s brother ⁠— Stevante Clark ⁠— held a news conference to respond to the announcement of the settlement. Stevante Clark said that, despite the settlement, he will continue to call for the officers involved to be fired, charged and prosecuted.

Stevante is the piece of trash who during a city council meeting jumped on the dais and told the Mayor to “F*** Off” and other choice vocabulary. He has about as much credibility as Geoffrey the Giraffe of Toys’ R Us fame.

“He was a loving, loving, loving father,” Stevante Clark said of his brother. “He was a proud father. He was love and light.”

Well in that case maybe the settlement was low, seemed like a great dad, coked out of his mind on drugs to the point his grandparents wouldn’t let him in the house. Judging by the texts and his criminal rap sheet, Clark was the opposite.

Clark said he and others planned to protest Saturday afternoon at p.m. at Stockton and Fruitridge Roads to continue to call for the officers’ resignation. Stevante Clark also said, in honor of Stephon Clark’s birthday Wednesday, events would be held throughout the weekend in his memory.
“There’s no reason I should be out here talking about my brother’s legacy, defending my brother’s legacy, when the officers who murdered him should be proving their innocence in court,” Stevante Clark said during the news conference. “We always have to relive the death of Stephon.”

Ah, yes, a protest during these Covid times, monkey pox is prevalent, but its ok. Let us all gather to protest the death of a clown who got what he deserved. Um…, your brother’s “legacy,” what exactly do you mean by that? By the way, you are innocent until proven guilty you dumb hood rat. You would know that if you took any history class or been called to jury duty, but that assumes you receive anything from the government other than a benefit card paid with this blog’s workers taxes! As far as reliving the death of your brother…. take the 4.1 million, buy a place in Granite Bay. You will never have to relive it again, and you can celebrate his legacy as he dun got you out da hood. I mean your friends will call you an “Oreo” or say you’re “not really black” but live it up.

The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office and the California Attorney General’s Office said in March 2019 that the officers would not face criminal charges.
The wrongful death lawsuit filed against the city and the two police officers claims the officers racially profiled Clark and used excessive force when they shot and killed him in March 2018.
The city’s attorney Susana Alcala Wood said in a statement on Friday that the most recent settlement is “the best path forward for all involved parties including our community.”
The Clark family has agreed that the settlement brings an end to the legal action.
“Stephon Clark’s death was a tragedy that brought pain and sorrow to his family and to our entire city,” Mayor Darrell Steinberg said. “Everyone wishes this heartbreaking event had not occurred. A family lost a son, a grandson, a brother, and a father.”

The Sacramento DA was an Independent and the Attorney General was police hating Xavier Becerra. They found no reason to charge the cops. The police profiled Clark? Really? It was several 911 calls, him evading arrest, and running through other folk’s yards, and trying to break into a neighbor’s house. Yes, Sacramento’s mayor is correct the death of Clark brought pain to the families of 2 police officers. They are basically persona non-grata in this area, I hope both were able to transfer and move on. The city is going to feel pain too, this settlement will be paid for by increased tax money… but nothing another ½ cent sales tax can’t fix!

Blame the police, tax the people, remember Stephon Clark.

What we call news in Sacramento

Check out this whopper of a story transmitted by KCRA 3, the local news channel in our town. “Elk Grove family claims 11-year-old was tackled at State Fair, asks for termination of officers involved”

An Elk Grove family claims that 11-year-old Elijah Hunter was tackled by police at the California State Fair last week on Kids Day.
Hunter’s family, their attorney, Black Lives Matter Sacramento and the Greater Sacramento National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) gathered on Monday saying that his civil rights were violated and they’re now asking for policy changes regarding security at Cal Expo.
Cynthia Martin, Elijah’s mother, said in a news conference that his shirt was covered in blood.
“They [Cal Expo police] knew that they injured him because they provided the first-aid before we even made it to Kaiser hospital, where he received further treatment,” Martin said.

Just think about that for a minute, no actual reporting just releasing statements from BLM, NAACP and the victim’s family and attorney. Notice they make it clear they want people terminated. Notice the bolded words of “covered in blood” more on that later in the article. By the way, if officers injure someone, even shooting a criminal they have a duty to attempt lifesaving measures until fire/ambulance/etc. personnel show up.

Looking at this article it would appear this is Rodney king part 2 electric boogaloo right? Wrong.

But, in a statement to KCRA 3, Darla Givens, a spokesperson at Cal Expo, said the youth only suffered a small cut. Givens also added that police were called about a child attempting to steal items from fair vendors, climbing over a safety fence and almost being hit by a roller coaster ride.

Ahh, now we get clarity our little saint was trying to steal items from vendors, jumped over a safety fence, (those are usually about 6 feet high mind you) and almost was hit by a roller coaster. This coming from Cal Expo officials not the police mind you.

Of course, it didn’t stop local NAACP President Betty Williams from continuing a false narrative…

However, advocates like Betty Williams, who is the president of Greater Sacramento NAACP said that nothing excuses the behavior of Cal Expo officers toward the minor.
“What makes him different from any other 11-year-old? I’ll tell you what it is. He’s Black. He’s a Black man, a Black male. It doesn’t matter your age when it comes to this society and law enforcement. You are treated differently,” Williams said.

Sorry, officers taking down a person has nothing to do with whether they are black, brown, Asian, white, or any other color. Your son was acting a fool and so out of control officers were forced to take him to the ground. Sounds like his safety was at risk, I’ve never gotten so close to a roller coaster it almost hit me. He was trying to steal items…. he was being a punk and a thug.

Oh, check this out little thug’s parents were even there that day…

The family and attorney are also concerned about a document that they say Elijah was forced to sign without any family members present.
Cal Expo officials said that when their policies are violated, fairgoers are asked to not return and sign a document agreeing to such.

Sure, I guess the little thug wasn’t 18 yet, but regardless he will be perma banned from Cal Expo since he cannot follow basic rules, like don’t act like a criminal.

But what upsets me most here is this is the last paragraph of the article, buried at the end mind you…

KCRA 3 asked the family for photos of the injuries, but they refused to provide those. However, in photos that they sent to KCRA 3 last week, he had a bandage on one of his elbows and a visible blood stain on his shirt about the size of a nickel.

Hmm, the family won’t provide photos? That’s odd. His shirt was covered in blood I thought? I figured he was a disjointed mess? Beat up so bad his body would require multiple surgeries? Well, I guess this wasn’t Rodney King part 2 after all. Once again, it’s a sad story of a young thug causing trouble, not following orders who got the business from a police officer or two. I’m sorry but if you run, and it sounds like this thug did, they will be tackling/tasing/taking down you. The sad part is he seems to be a young man with no family in his life, who lets their 11-year-old go to the fair unsupervised? Sounds like zero family was around as they objected to him signing a form banning himself from the fairgrounds permanently. Maybe if parents were there this would have all been avoided?

Bottom line this is irresponsible journalism at its finest, notice how they make the incident sound like he was beaten within an inch or two of his life? Only to at the very bottom in essence refute that? Why do they get statements from the parents, NAACP, and others but ignore the police organization? This is because they can create a false narrative of “white police, black victim” when in reality it was a thug acting out, running away, and then being finally subdued. This is how false narratives of “hands up…. don’t shoot” get started.

The good news here for the family is they will likely get a 6-figure settlement, it’s what we do here in Sacramento, crime pays. Then the incident will go away.

I Do Not Recognize the USA Anymore (Griner Trade Edition)

Lest I be accused of being racist, let me preface this blog by saying in my 20 plus years of paying attention to world affairs in this country, I am finally speechless.

Back story: We wrote a blog detailing Britney Griner and her being detained in Russia. Well as first reported by ESPN (the so-called sports site), take my word for it, the Blog Father will confirm, they beat Fox News by at least five minutes sending out the news alert. The USA has offered Putin a trade. We get back Britney Griner and jailed Marine, Paul Whelen, in exchange for Vicktor Bout.

Whelen was “convicted” of espionage AKA Russia wanted to detain an American in 2020, so he has been incarcerated for 2 years, Griner has been incarcerated for about 5 months. Check out what Viktor Bout is jailed for. Yeah, selling guns and stuff; things the Democrats say they hate! Bout even had a movie made about him starring Nick Cage…Lord of War. So, we trade in essence an arms dealer, we get back an American hating basketball player and a former Marine jailed on bogus charges.

I do not recognize the USA anymore. We used to not negotiate with terrorists, I would argue what Russia is doing to Ukraine civilians in terrorism. US Sec of State Anthony Blinkin (I would surmise he did a lot of blinkin’ on this stinkin’ deal) is set to try to meet with Russian minister Sergy Lavrov, AKA the guy ordering the bombings of apartments and schools in Ukraine to finalize this swap. The USA spent millions in $$ and man hours hunting down, extraditing, and convicting Bout, and all is for naught.

I bet this Bout character is back in the arms game within ‘bout a week…. Let’s Go Brandon!

Good news is we get back a woman who is gay and black; three things the Democrats feel makes someone super deprived. Also allow me to add, she was not a tourist, she knew damn well she was breaking the law. Oh, not to be outdone, Griner was in court this AM, said she was never read her rights…….um you ain’t on Cops sweetheart.

Final note: We are not Russian citizens; it is not ok to not be familiar with their rules and laws. They view drugs as a major issue, in the USA we mostly don’t give a rip anymore. If I am traveling anywhere outside the USA, I’m making a list, checking that list twice at least and making damn sure I’m clean. Hell, I may buy all new clothes and toiletries prior to the trip just to ensure a factory seal/tag exists for some sort of plausible deniability.

If you are a US citizen traveling abroad, and want to come back, you better mind your P’s and Q’s otherwise you just might become a valuable trade chip for the country you are in. Ditto for all you going to Qatar for the Men’s World Cup. Check out Muslim countries and their stance toward alcohol, specifically public intoxication. Check out drugs as well…. just saying. Oh, entrapment is perfectly legal in some countries.

I almost hope Russia says no….and counter offers with withdraw all NATO aligned military supplies in Ukraine, just to see Biden’s brain break.

I almost hope God comes back for me soon, Lesbihonest as a straight, white, male, I have no value to this society anymore. A so-called superpower MADE an offer to swap a terrorist for a basketball player. Please do not be fooled. Whelen is a throw-in due to his supporter’s saber-rattling Biden lately.

How to Re-Build CAGOP

I’m a glutton for punishment. I left the CAGOP and here I am giving them advice… of course they won’t listen as I am now an outcast in their eyes. I know this for fact, as I have lost a couple friendships over it, of course they don’t see it my way, they see it as quitting. I see it as sending a message, something they will not/refuse to do. Frankly if I lose your friendship over my political party of choice eat my nuts.

Here is how to fix your Party…. don’t listen you might actually start winning seats again.

Admit you are weak kneed: this is the first step; you have no fight in you. You are all a bunch of donkeys braying about “the good ole days.” You enjoy your conventions each year and talk a great game about opposing the chair or certain candidates, but it never comes to fruition as none of you are brave enough to call the question or make a motion.
Get the G-d D**m endorsements in the voter guide: You love to blame the chair for this; bull. You are long in the tooth and mostly graying/balding, you guys know the ropes/rules etc. Get your act in gear, a voter guide that maybe no one reads is your excuse. I was looking at races with many candidates on the GOP side looking to get castrated in November, at least endorse one and get it in the damn guide!
Get out to parts of the state not friendly to you. This is obvious but I feel I must point it out. Some voters/people in this state have never even heard from a Republican, and as such have no way of refuting the Lefts lies about your Party, It won’t be fun, but if you show up, there will be curious folks. Even more so now with the homeless/crime/inflation issues. Stop preaching to the choir, if you are blind, I’ll fill you in, the Republican Party is shrinking drastically in CA.
End the consultant class: Aaron Park takes a W here; he was really right and still is. These consultants have a franchise territory they are gifted by the Party and as a result, they get to play god in the primaries. Don’t believe me? Check out the safe GOP state senate seat we lost as a result of the party/consultants playing there.
Vet the candidates you endorse: Aaron takes another W. He pointed it out perfectly about the embrace of being pro-choice. The consultants gas these clients up prior to their client meeting your group, the message changes depending what room they are in. Rather than asking if life begins at conception… ask what 3 things they would push for in Sacramento/DC. Ask what committees they want to sit on. Throw them off their game and get them off their talking points (and yours) Trust me, if they sound like Sean Hannity, they are likely a Democrat in disguise. I know so, as the CRA has endorsed several questionable GOPers in my day. Or just keep asking if they love Reagan, are they prolife, or do they want to ban same sex marriage? Heck that playbook has worked great for the last few decades, huh?
Term limits for county chairs, and state party chairs: This is a no brainer. Sadly, I hate term limits as it causes a massive shuffle of elected officials every so often, but its needed. The state party has the same faces just in different places. The county parties have folks that I swear have been in charge for a couple decades. Move on, get a life, let someone else lead the fight.
Quit bringing up Reagan for G-d sakes. Reagan likely wouldn’t get the nomination in your party today as he would be seen by you as a liberal squish. Keep in mind, most under 36, give or take, have zero memories of “the Gipper.” Move on, you sound like a person who peaked in grade school for josh sakes.
Drop the social issues: Put them on the back burner, as I mentioned earlier, you are preaching to such a limited universe NASA may need to start exploring it soon to find out if it actually exists. Gay marriage is law of the land, abortion is up to the states, rest assured CA is not banning abortion anytime in my lifetime. Emphasize what you can do, not what you want to take away.
Stop calling yourself “true conservatives or the conscience of the Republican Party.” Many of you opposed Trump in the 2016 primary to the extent that you wanted a brokered convention AKA the “original stop the steal” so you could put “Lyin Ted” Cruz as the nominee. You didn’t just make yourselves look like idiots, you proved it beyond a reasonable doubt … to the entire country btw. But its ok, Donald once gave money to democrats….as I am sure no GOPer y’all endorsed ever has. Harken back on the 4 years of the Donald’s term, you will see the most conservative president since Reagan. And to think you opposed it. I’d bet a good bunch of money most of you voted Biden or stayed out of the last election just because of what he did to your idol Ted. Rather than blow out the people who don’t pass your “conservative” litmus test grow the party.
Actually, stand for something: This will be hard as you would rather use words like “repeal” or “wait ‘til we take over.” If you have no plan, you get no votes. Yes, raising copious sums of money off a Hillary presidency would have been great, but the country would have been a disaster…. much like it is now.
Remove the crazies: This will be the hardest part. CAGOP and its affiliated groups are seen by most as a haven for whack jobs because a few apples have been allowed to spoil your bunch. When you let crazy take the center stage, or don’t isolate it, your entire group gets the crazy label. I doubt many of you see crazy in your party, so I’ll point you toward it: Jorge Riley and any associate.
Send a message at the convention: I know this will be hard to do, as it would out you as a true conservative and a rabble rouser, but if you really hate Jessica Patterson, here’s is a thought; during her speech, stand up in unison and walk out of the chamber. You say the vote to re-elect her was close…. it really wasn’t, but rather than do nothing, a.k.a. the usual, show a pulse. The liberal newspaper writers covering the event will have a story to write about and you can tell your story about her as a failure as chair! You may just make a difference, and you would send a message. She may not hear it, but her officers will, and people who are part of the problem will sense unrest brewing among the natives.
Hold 1 convention: it’s an insult to working people, having to find transportation, housing, and meals for multiple conventions a year where nothing gets accomplished. Rather than catch up about the good ole days of trying to deny Donald the nomination, you could laser focus on growing the party. Actually, never mind…. keep whacking Donald. But it’s cheaper to do this at a local speakeasy than at Knott’s Berry Farm or Palm Springs, just my $.02.
Lastly Reflect on just how conservative you are: It ain’t much. You hated Donald, look at what he did; tax cut, 3 judges on the court, ended Hillary. Yet you cheered on the houses of Congress who opposed him. Only after his first 3 years did you decide you liked him. Who is the true conservative? It’s no one in the CAGOP.

What’s up with Rising Crime?

You may have read the headlines from over July 4^th weekend, but if you didn’t, it wasn’t just fireworks being shot off. We had yet another shooting in the hometown of this blog, to go along with the typical bloodshed in LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, and well any other city in the USA. Some may ask what the story is? Others may blame it on Democrat big city policies, the answer lies somewhere in between.

The murder “pandemic” is a direct result of the “plandemic of Covid.” Notice my spelling of the word “pandemic” there. It was planned and was deliberate.

Here is how.

Lock-downs = mental Health Crisis. Make no mistake, I care about people’s health and safety, but the rules were so “willy nilly” it was laughable. Everyone became an epidemiologist, and we decided the lockdowns needed to continue. My favorite was the slaughterhouse needing to be open (the kill floor) while the administrative floor was shut down. Long lockdowns led to some folks becoming lazy and permanently leaving the workforce, others went nuts due to long periods of not doing a damn thing. Others had to work and couldn’t take a day off leading to burn out unheard of. Try being called “unessential” for months on end. Try being forced to work while the managers cower at home. This has led to a crisis in mental health unseen before.

Solution: There really isn’t an easy one. We have zero as far as mental hospitals go, and frankly once you hit 18 in California, you can sign yourself out of it sight unseen. All we do in the country is give out a diagnosis and a pile of pills. We are good at billing insurance, until the benefits run out for the year. Outside of that it’s; more pills, stronger pills. There is nothing we can do in this country for your mental wellbeing, except maybe get you to the other side of the road if you are playing in traffic.

Lack of father(s) and God in people’s lives. In Philadelphia 2 of the suspects who killed that 73-year-old man with a traffic cone were; 10! And 14! Years old. Yeah, seriously WTF! The good news is they will be tried as children and will be out when they turn 18, or likely sooner. These children are likely from a fatherless household, and one who lacks religion of any variety. These children have no role-model, never learned good vs evil, and as a result run amuck at night as no one is home to watch them. Most in the black community do not have a father in their lives growing up, is it a coincidence they have the most crime?

Defunding the police: Ah yes, the far-left viewpoint on how to stop crime, take more folks with a badge and gun off the streets! They are trying to reverse this but the attrition and lack of those wanting a career in law enforcement is obvious.

Liberal DA’s: Another left wing “solution;” deciding to try someone as a juvenile, or not add enhancements to sentencing is a slap in the face to the victim’s families. Early prison releases get filed under here as well.

Hardened gangs spreading from the West Coast: This is a real large problem. Back when I was 18, I went on a ride along with the local police department. The senior officer I was with lamented that the department would eventually be overwhelmed by gangs from the Bay Area. Specifically, he said it’s the mentality they bring as opposed to gangs locally. He explained the local gangs cared more about drugs whereas the Bay Area ones cared more about defending turf and killing rivals. Notice how we have shootings involving illegally modified weapons now and our police cannot keep up? Also keep in mind half of all the violent crime in the Sacramento region happens in a 7 square mile area. Draw a line from Valley High to Meadowview, Oak Park and Akali Flat this is where the crime exists in this county in large numbers, yet the police will do nothing about it. The problem is the crime is slowly spilling out to other area’s and becoming far more deadly. This is because the police in outlying areas have no idea how to react to more hardened criminals.

The crime is now in basically every city, small, medium, and large. Despite what Fox and its hosts have to say, the crime is all over.

How to stay safe:

It’s actually quite simple, believe it or not. Avoid being out after 11pm, it’s a no brainer but maybe not really. Bad things tend to happen after 11pm and trust me, if you are out and about, trouble will likely follow/find you. Avoid any night/dance/strip clubs. Again, if you ain’t an Uber driver, and you aren’t “just visiting,” keep your butt away. Violence tends to occur here after a night of drinking/shenanigans. Keep to yourself, this is an easy one; don’t stare, engage, speak to, or confront anyone. Most of the time they won’t mess with you if you keep to yourself.

Trust me, I used to take the train home from college, boarding at the Richmond, CA station, as a very Anglo male. I lived, you can too. It’s not that hard. The bad guys prey on targets who they see as weak or “tryin to start somethin’.”

Societal Decay Part ???

I want to share my experience at my local gym yesterday, keep in mind I attend a gym with the word “family” in its name. So, I would take it as meaning “family friendly.” That being said, it is summertime and that means the weather is hot. Check out my experience at Family Fitness.

First upon my arrival, I check in and get on the hamster wheel for circa about an hour to get my cardio workout in. As I was running, I glanced at the person on the Stair Master directly in front of me. I couldn’t figure out what I was looking at first, but then I realized, it was a young lady in what appeared to be volleyball shorts that barely covered her up. I’m talking a good half of both cheeks were uncovered. I promptly found a new machine; no way was I going to be accused of being a pig looking at that view for my duration of my workout. At first, I figured it was a malfunction, or maybe a rookie mistake, nope she was proudly strutting her stuff all over the workout floor later that evening. I overheard a fellow gym goer make a “cat call” at her to which she responded in kind with a smile and twirling her hair. Obviously, it’s not just the trainers who are for hire here.

Second interaction was when I was out at the pool area cooling down after my run. I had to do a double take as someone walked by me, I swore she was quite naked, and I thought she had a group of three kids with her. Yeah, I was correct, she was wearing I guess a thong, as her two cheeks weren’t covered up at all. And yes 2/3 kids were hers. I thought this was pretty classless and tasteless at a family gym, also were many families and young children congregate…a pool! Not to be outdone she walked directly through the entire club on the way out, wearing no towel.

The third and final interaction was while I was on the workout floor. As I was bench pressing, I looked up and saw a female with extremely tight-fitting spandex leggings on. Like so tight that if you told me she had to attach the “butt crack” part directly to her “butt hole” I would believe it. I have honestly never seen something like this. This girl legit found a way to show off every curve on her body. But wait there is more…. this same girl tied her shirt in a knot in the back as to make it even more form fitting. I guess I had seen it all right? Nope, her shirt read “personal trainer” on it. Yup she draws a paycheck from this place.

I could go on, especially about the men who wear leggings to the gym, you can include me in that group, but I wear shorts over them. I’m pretty self-aware in that no one goes to the gym to scope out my rear end, and even fewer want to stare at the crotch of a mid-thirties man. Actually, I’m one of the very few who do that, I see numerous men not wearing shorts over their leggings. Definition of gross if you ask me.

However, I was quite possibly outdone by the response I got to an informal poll I did. Almost no one who was a guy had an issue with it, this poll included those married, single, and engaged. Please do not get me wrong, I do not mind summer, warm weather, but is it too much to ask to cover up a little bit? The responses from women seemed more in alinement with my thoughts, which is to be expected. When it came to the men’s attire, as expected the men were adamantly opposed, ditto for the women for the most part. One disturbing trend out of a couple female’s surveyed was they spoke about a 6-6-6 club, when I asked, they admitted it’s an on-going thing with women who desire 6 feet tall, earning 6 figures, and 6 inches in the pants. If you are stuck on the last one, I can’t help you sorry. I personally find this odd, but I guess that is what society wants. Maybe I should go short less at the gym? Or maybe I don’t want to embarrass myself?

In closing, this bothers me in a way it may not bother many. This oversexualizes society, big time. Why are we doing this at the gym? Understand I am completely on board with traditional workout attire for all groups, and society has changed in a way leggings are tolerated, but man…. this seems to be overkill. I’m not sure it’s asking too much to keep the thong at home, get some better covering volleyball shorts, and maybe don’t buy leggings 3 sizes too small? Especially if you happen to work there. Also, guys, definitely cover up, its gross. However, this is what we want now, I guess it’s like a big show room, check out the goods, test drive the car if they let you, then I guess decide second date or not?

Democrats Off-Load Joe Biden

Things are not great right now if you’re a Democrat; record inflation, soaring debt, a war in Ukraine, record high gas prices, and soaring food costs are making it not fun to be Joe Biden. That’s ok though as all will be well for the Democrats after the mid-term elections.

You may have seen David Axelrod and a couple other pundits remarking about Joe’s age, and possible cognitive slippage. This is because the Democrats have no further use for Joe, he was needed to beat Trump because they needed a “moderate/likeable guy.” Now they have no use for him as the world is quite literally burning. This was the plan all along. You see, Joe was shepherded through the primary (you may remember the bizarre events after the South Carolina primary. Joe won and suddenly the top delegate leaders all bowed out of the race. Maybe the Clinton’s made a few phone calls?) Anyways Joe won and the rest is history.

The Democrats have gone so woke they have no use for an old white guy who has zero original thoughts, so he will be replaced prior to the presidential primary in 2024. They do not need or want him anymore; he will be blamed for all these issues and any other problems in the world that confront us. His policies are not woke enough or hip enough anymore. The Squad and others now control the Party and will be picking the replacement on the ballot. People like Axelrod don’t start rumors unless there are serious rumblings going on about Ole Joe behind the scenes. The Democrats will get smashed in the midterms and reality will set in, they need a new/younger leader with fresh new ideas.

Enter Gavin Newsom.

Gavin survived a recall, actually getting around 60 some odd percent to keep him in office. This is despite record long lockdowns, emergency powers that he still hasn’t given up by the way, high taxes, and a homeless problem that is destroying our state. Gavin is working on a stimulus check to CA residents with a target delivery date of October…. magically when the ballots will be dropping for our “all mail in election.” He won’t drop the cash earlier because he wants that check fresh on your mind when your ballot appears. We won’t be suspending the gas tax out here either (plus this tax went even higher beginning July 1^st). Taxes are important to Californians, ours tend to be record highs.

In November, Gavin is going to run the numbers up big time, running on a hyper-woke agenda of closing 3 prisons, sending out that rebate check, defunding police, homeless shelters on all corners of vacant land, abortion thru all nine months plus several months after birth, legalizing female slavery (prostitution), and rampant crime and drug use. Most folks in CA, the GOP included, don’t really care about any of this, as such this place is going completely to hell. Gavin will be facing a GOP legislator from Lassen County (no one lives there) Gavin will run this thing up; I expect a margin of around 68% in favor of him. After he wins big, I have a feeling he announces to challenge Biden. Biden will be announcing he wants to spend more time with family. Someone needs to provide Hunter with $$$ for the hookers and blow.

Joe bows out, and Gavin coasts to the nomination, CA is already moving up its presidential primary in earnest. Gavin will run the numbers up again and no one will be able to stop him. Kamala will be told to run for the Governorship Gavin vacates and the race will be on. The Squad will be happy, and the hope will be the GOP primary will be a knockdown, drag out, bare knuckle brawl. Gavin will have a huge advantage coupled with a favorable map as far as electoral votes go.

The best hope we would have as the GOP is to nominate Ron DeSantis and have a CA vs the rest of the USA on the ballot. Then we will finally get an idea of which direction the country wants to go.

This is the belief held by the entire editorial board here at the blog. We firmly believe Joe is just a stalking horse waiting to be put out to pasture (or sent to the glue factory).

I Left the GOP

The rumors are true, this past week I re-registered to “Libertarian.” If you know me, you already know I am a Libertarian, but I caucused with the GOP. I only voted for 1 Democrat in my life prior to this election, that was Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli. I am not going to grandstand and claim the party left me.

Truth is there is no Republican Party in California.

For years the party has been in a free fall. Tribalism took over and poof, we are now a super minority. I see that Chad Mayes, the former GOP leader, is still in the Assembly as an independent. Mayes is known for being a sorta Republican who loves tax hikes. Would be nice if the GOP could beat him, but why bother. Frankly he fits in perfectly. On each vote there is inevitably 3-4 GOP members who vote with the Democrats so it can be called a “bi-partisan bill.” Barf.

The party brand is toxic here. Just look at Sac DA Anne Marie Schubert. She used the party to get elected, then dropped us afterward. She got obliterated running for AG, but the point is, she used us until it was no longer necessary. Ditto for Pat Hume, the lazy EG councilmember, who will get slaughtered in November because he never wants to put in the work. The GOP endorsed him, but he refuses to use the logo. He was in a 4-way race with 3 Democrats, and if he achieved 50% plus one, he could have won outright. Hume also supported the tax measure on the ballot, and supported the sales tax increase a couple cycles ago. But that’s ok…. he is a Republican!

The county party here is a joke. I mean Sue, Terry (RIP) and others were a circus, but this crew is a straight up joke. I got an email the night before Election Day saying Sac County GOP recommends you vote this way. Yup, I got my ballot 6 weeks prior at least, and had already returned it. We do all our voting by mail in CA, these idiots just do not get it. It told me to vote Barnes for sheriff, he lost, write in Sue Mason for her race, and that if I couldn’t drop my ballot off someone could come pick it up. Yeah, read that again, the GOP called that ballot harvesting a couple cycles ago. Good luck trying to sue over that now.

The top 2 primary has killed off all non-democrat parties. I don’t even need to say anymore here. Too bad the GOP supports it. I think a lawsuit involving all non-democrat parties gets the top 2 overturned. Congrats on being on the wrong side of history GOP! In November I get the choice of Stephanie Nguyen or Eric Guerra in one race, and Dave Jones and Angelique Ashby in the other. Neither race features a GOP.

The GOP had zero endorsements on my voter guide. See the troll blog for more on this disturbing factoid. Bonus, the GOP voters are crying as very few of their “candidates” made it through to November. Shocking I say, shocking.

Recruiting failures. Let’s look at BOE district 4, a former GOP seat, there stands a very high likelihood 2 Democrats make the run-off. 5 GOP folks split the vote, allowing this debacle. In SD 4, 6 GOP folks allowed the Democrats to both advance to a run-off. Minority leader Scott Wilk (a GOP) spent money on one of the Democrat candidates that won in this highly Republican area. Face it, minority and leader are two words that never belong together. Idiocy rains supreme here. The GOP has one option to win in November, Lanhee Chen is the best chance. I have it on record that in a couple statewide races the establishment GOP recruited a challenger just to deny someone the chance to be in the top 2. WTF?

So, to conclude, the GOP is dead here, so I won’t be wasting anymore of my time on it. I still vote GOP as the lesser evil, but I cannot continue supporting a party that is lost. It’s sad. I voted for Democrats; Steve Glazer (he lost), Dave Jones, and Steve Ly this time around. I won’t be doing that anymore unless the GOP requires it. In the races between Jones and Ashby, Nguyen and Guerra, I will have to.
