After my first attempts at uploading music failed, I decided that the only way to get further into the uploading process with any prospect of success was to convert all songs in my library to mp3 files. Most of my library is in WMA format. It took two days to convert all songs in my…

How Subway Lost It’s Way
Subway, the sandwich shop, is the largest franchise by store count. I believe McDonalds is larger by revenue, but I digress. Back in my college days in 2008, Subway was my go to when the cafeteria food was bad. The sandwich was just that a sandwich, the cost was $5 as the 5-dollar footlong was…

My first hotel experience in Lapu Lapu City was the Crown Regency Hotel. I will be comparing it, in part, with my visit last year. The Crown Regency is an older hotel along a main road in Lapu Lapu City. Per the elevator buttons, it has ten floors. It has a small swimming pool and…

I am overseas for the next two months. In honor of the occasion, I will randomly be presenting reviews of stuff that I experienced. My goal is to inform people about what I’m up to without angering my family or others that think they know what’s best for my life. First up, is The Big…

Folks, its not too often that the man (or woman) behind the curtain outs themselves and takes a bow for their skullduggery; but occasionally, the villain has enough hubris to do just that. I came across this tweet from an ESPN twitter account quoting WNBA basketball star Nneka Ogwumike (you win scrabble if you get that word) the other day after Griner pled guilty to a crime in Russia. It calls Griner a hero, and says we need to bring her back to the USA. First some backstory…

You may have read the headlines from over July 4th weekend, but if you didn’t, it wasn’t just fireworks being shot off. We had yet another shooting in the hometown of this blog, to go along with the typical bloodshed in LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, and well any other city in the USA. Some may ask…

Folks I have been holding my powder about this conflict, but I feel like I’m past due to comment on it. First and foremost, I don’t trust the American media to tell the truth about this war. They lied for six years about Donald Trump; they’ve lied for over two years about Covid. They always…
