Yep. Monday of last week I spent about 5.5 hours in the Emergency Room. Here’s the details. Sunday (the previous day), we went to Shakey’s Pizza after church and got lunch. There were a few chicken wings left and a couple slices of pizza. So, many hours later, guess what we had for dinner? Yep.…

Review Gordon Ramsey’s Street Burger
I told my girl that I wanted a burger and a beer. I’m not much of a drinker but it just sounded good. We hopped in the car and drove for about 20 minutes to somewhere I’d never been before. We parked next to a McDonald’s—not a good omen—and then went for a walk. We…

President Trump is headed to Oklahoma and Alabama this weekend to campaign. Why is this alarming? He won both of those states easily. His brand just like the Republican brand should be strong there. He should be elsewhere. If those senators are in trouble, we are losing the majority in both houses by a lot. …

Last Saturday, the California Republican Assembly put on a display of incongruity so amazing, I’m struggling with how to describe the hypocrisy and irony that made the meeting such a disaster. The train wreck of expediency over principle concerns the Conservative Republicans of California group founded by Karen England, Steve Frank and others ejected from…

Saturday, I got the opportunity to asked former congressman and current congressional candidate Doug Ose a serious campaign question. The answer, while somewhat evasive, was still important. While attending Second Amendment Saturday, organizer and regional CRA vice-president, Carl Brickey, arranged for a pro-forma endorsement vote for two competitive congressional districts. The endorsement was just to…

Donald Sterling is in the news this week for private comments made regarding his feeling about some folks that are a different race. The conversation was recorded without his permission. The release of the recording is a violation of California law but nobody cares. The race baiters and self-appointed PC police in and out of…

I have been using the Amazon Cloud for music but it has shortcomings that apparently they don’t have any interest in fixing. • The most obvious is that you can’t edit or reject the album cover that they wish to assign to your music. (See below for examples). • Secondly, I can find no easy…
