Steve Hilton, he can’t win but he can help

Over on rightondaily.com there is a fellow who hangs out in the comment section.  His comments are longform and rambling in nature.  Leo Naranjo actually makes Joe Biden seem cogent.

Per my internet search engine, this is Leo Naranjo

Naranjo was one of the 100 million folks who ran for governor this past June, he got a whole 8,000 votes!  He has been crowing about getting .01% of the vote saying he out performed expectations.  Grab a participation trophy my guy!

Naranjo fancies himself a Trump wannabe; he calls people names and makes outlandish statements without any proof.  He called Hilton a “Brit” and claims Hilton was forced on us. First of all, Naranjo calling him a “Brit” just shows his ignorance as a human, and boy I hope Hilton can get some sleep tonight knowing a retired loser called him a name!  Hilton was not forced on us Leo. Your guy Trump endorsed him, making him essentially a lock for the top two.  Naranjo then goes on to say Hilton can’t win…. Wow, great analysis there!  You are telling me in a state as dark blue as California that a Republican cannot win?  My God! when Fox News has an opening for a political analyst, I’ll recommend you!

But enough about Leo Naranjo and his pathetic life.

Steve Hilton can help. While Leo has no chance of being able to realize it, Hilton’s presence on the ballot will drive Republicans to vote.  Most people look at the top of the ticket races and decide whether to participate in voting or not.  Show me a ballot with Xavier Beccera and Tom Steyer (D vs D) and I am not likely to even vote.  Be honest just for a second, no one cares about the other statewide races and unless you are super dialed-in political nerd. Most voters likely cannot name a candidate.  However, with Hilton on the ballot, I will vote and vote for every race down ticket.  It will not help in my area as no race is competitive, but it could very well help elsewhere.  In some parts of the state, we do have races we are targeting or trying to hold where a mere 500-2500 votes could make the difference.  This is where Hilton comes in.  He could help us get those extra votes just by being on the ticket.  This could be the difference between winning and losing a targeted race.

Trust me, no one with a functioning brain (doesn’t include you Leo), thinks Hilton can or will win, its about strategy.

Leo, go grab your participation trophy, but find a hobby; preferable one not requiring sharp blades or sharp wits.  Typing longform comments on someone else’s blog is pathetic.  Oh, the Sith Lord told me you are a totally different person at the local CRA meetings. Go figure. An internet tough guy calling people names from behind the anonymity of his keyboard has a name on this blog, Troll.

Candidates will be more important than party in November

Exactly what the title of this blog says.  We have an election in November. It seems like everyone is saying the Democrats will win big.  I am somewhat skeptical.  Both parties are nominating whack jobs which can sink the whole party if not kept in check.

Three New York Democrat Congress nominees:  Check out these 3 pieces of work.

New York’s un-holy trinity Brad Lander, Claire Valdez, Darializa Avila Chevalie

Two Democratic socialist House candidates who were endorsed by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) — Darializa Avila Chevalier and Claire Valdez — won their primary bids last week. Brad Lander, a former member of the Democratic Socialists of America and close ally of Mamdani’s, also won his.

Chevalier gets worse somehow:

Avila Chevalier, a sociology PhD student whose victory sent shockwaves throughout the Democratic establishment, has been under fire for a since-deleted Twitter account, previously reported by CNN, that included phrases such as “seize the means of production,” along with calls to abolish police, prisons and borders. Other controversial tweets include one that said Black and Arab men are both “Fetishizing ugly colonizer women” and another that described wiping her dirty hands on the American flag in lieu of a napkin.

As an undergraduate, Avila Chevalier attended Columbia University, where she organized with Students for Justice in Palestine, and after graduation became involved in pro-Palestinian campus protests over Israel’s war in Gaza. She also attended a controversial October 8, 2023, pro-Palestinian rally in Times Square — one day after Hamas’ attack on Israel — that featured speeches and rhetoric praising the attack.

Claire Valdez doesn’t seem much better:

“Two and a half years ago, Israeli leaders clearly stated their intent to carry out a genocide in Gaza,” she said in an X post on June 3. “And that’s exactly what they did. I was in the streets with so many New Yorkers protesting our complicity and to free Palestine.”

“This fascist administration is kidnapping our neighbors from their immigration court check-ins,” she said in a 2025 post to X. “What is Albany waiting for? State leaders cannot ignore this emergency any longer. We cannot allow ONE MORE neighbor to be targeted.”

Brad Lander isn’t great either:

Lander says his first priority in Congress will be to “vanquish Trump’s fascism” and abolish ICE, and accused billionaires of “rigging our economy.”  He has described himself as an “ally” to the black community, and in a 2022 candidate survey for the comptroller job shockingly accused himself of possible white supremacy.  In 2020, Lander called for police to suspend arresting criminals and demanded most inmates at Rikers be released. He also advocated for cutting NYPD’s budget by $1 billion in a letter to constituents, according to the New York Post.

All three are running in safe districts.  Welcome to Congress!

Ken Paxton Republican Senate Candidate Texas:

So, he knocked off a moderate. I’m sure the far right is giddy.  Problem is Paxton has more skeletons in his closet than a graveyard. Check these out:

In 2015, Paxton was indicted on state securities fraud charges relating to activities before taking office; he pleaded not guilty. After Paxton fulfilled a pretrial agreement for restitution to the victims, ethics training, and community service, the charges were dismissed in 2025.

In May 2023, Paxton was impeached by the Texas House of Representatives by a vote of 121–23, leading to his suspension. The articles of impeachment included allegations that Paxton gave preferential treatment to a political donor who bribed him, misapplied public resources and made false statements against whistleblowers, obstructed justice in the securities fraud trial against him, and made false statements regarding his financial interests. In September 2023, the Texas Senate voted 16–14 to acquit Paxton of all articles of impeachment, ending his suspension from office.

He also had an affair leading to divorce.  On July 10, 2025, Angela posted on X that she had “filed for divorce on biblical grounds”. The court filing alleged Ken Paxton was at fault and had committed adultery, and that the couple had not lived together since June 2024.

Graham Platner: Democrat for Senate in Maine.  This guy might be the worst of all time.

No word yet on how much the Southern Poverty Law Center is spending on his behalf

During his 2026 Senate campaign, Platner faced scrutiny over a skull-and-bones tattoo on his chest that resembled the Totenkopf symbol used by the Nazi Schutzstaffel (SS) and SS-Totenkopfverbände. In an interview on Pod Save America, Platner said he and other Marines received the tattoo while on leave in Croatia in 2007 and that he had been unaware of its historical association at the time. He later covered the tattoo. CNN and Jewish Insider reported a former acquaintance’s allegation that Platner had previously called the tattoo “my Totenkopf”, which Platner denied.

Damn they are nominating a real life Nazi!

In October 2025, various news outlets reported on Reddit posts Platner made between 2013 and 2021 in which he called himself a “communist“, wrote that “all cops are bastards“, agreed with a post calling rural white Americans “racist and stupid”, and in some posts referenced political violence and armed resistance. In a 2013 Reddit discussion about anti-rape underwear, Platner wrote that people worried about assault should “take some responsibility for themselves and not get so fucked up they wind up having sex with someone they don’t mean to.”

Mental health (PTSD) as an excuse. Check

In May 2026, The New York Times and other news outlets reported that in 2025 Platner’s wife, Amy Gertner, told a senior campaign aide that he had been sexting with multiple other women. The Platner campaign’s political director, Genevieve McDonald, alleged that Gertner had said it was as many as a dozen women. A Platner campaign official said he had been communicating with no more than six, and that the conduct had stopped before the campaign launched. Gertner said the matter had been resolved through counseling.

Anthony Weiner walked so Platner could run!

In June 2026, The Times reported allegations that Platner engaged in disturbing and physically threatening behavior toward women he had dated. A former girlfriend described by The Times as “a Virginia conservative who has worked for right-leaning groups and Republican campaigns” alleged that Platner had grabbed her repeatedly with enough force to leave marks and once twisted her arm behind her back, pushed her into a room, and locked her in against her will until morning. Platner has denied these allegations and called them “politically motivated”.

Good Effing God!

One last late entrant!

Colorado Congress candidate Melat Kiros:

Colorado Democratic Socialist candidate Melat Kiros recently argued how the 9/11 and 10/7 terror attacks were “inevitable” after US and Israeli military actions in the Middle East.  9News journalist Kyle Clark followed by asking if she believed the 9/11 terror attacks were also an “inevitable consequence” based on its foreign policy.

Inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle East, which led people to believe that another act of violence was the only response. And again, just like I said before, our responsibility is to get rid of those conditions that lead to violence in the first place,” Kiros said.

Good Lord!

In closing.

Part of the issue for the far left is the 3 New York candidates as nominees with 2 beating long term incumbents.  They will be in the next Congress!  The babe in Colorado hits the ballot tonight so we shall see. Again, that’s a far left district, so win and she is in.  Paxton and Platner are horses of a different color.  In Texas, the GOP will now need to spend a lot of money to save Paxton and win the seat, polling shows it neck and neck.  This is money that should be spent elsewhere.  Texas is also huge so it will take quite a bit of money.  Paxton’s issues will play in Texas more so than other parts of the country.  Platner in Maine is a big issue that was a race where he beat out their popular Democrat governor for the nomination.  His baggage is coming out and yikes.  This was a seat deemed winnable for the Democrats, who knows now.

If I’m the Republicans, I’m using the language of those nominees in New York and tying their words around the entire party in November.  One man’s opinion.

The CA Governor Race

It is the update you didn’t ask for, but due to the sheer number of folks running, and Eric Swalwell going up in flames, I feel compelled to comment.

There are about 200 folks running to replace Gavin Newsom as the next California governor, and to be honest, most Democrats that I speak with do not like the slate of choices they have.

What folks who live outside of California do not understand is, if you get elected governor, you are essentially a favorite to be the next nominee for President when you decide to run.  During recent presidential years, the California Legislature has moved the traditional June primary way up to the beginning of March in an attempt to be relevant to the Presidential nominee selection process. The number of delegates available in California is about 1/5 of what you need to secure the nomination of either Party.

So, to my commentary.

I do not know if the candidates that make it to the November general election will be 1 from the GOP and 1 Democrat or 2 Democrats, it’s really that fluid. Here are the candidates at the top of the field and my thoughts on each.

Sheriff Chad Bianco

Riverside County lawman

He is the MAGA sheriff from Riverside County.  He is big into deportation and enforcing the law.  (duh).  He was/is my likely choice; I get a good vibes from him and feel we need a straight-talking sheriff.  That being said, I think he finishes 4th.  His talking points are not going to play here except in the very red and sparsely populated areas of the state.  Trump endorsed Hilton (for reasons I do not understand) and as a result, his poll numbers fell about 5%.  One thing to consider, the CAGOP did not endorse for governor which tells me he has strong backing in the party.

Xavier Becerra

Xavier Becerra a legend in his own mind

I don’t get this guy.  His entire campaign is “Trump bad!”  He has no ideas.  Just so people understand, the housing affordability crisis is even bigger in California than the rest of the US.  A burger, fries, and a coke at Burger King is $18.  Becerra is your classic “get me in the top 2 vs a Republican and I will win” candidate.  He will finish in the top 3. My prediction is vague because he does have support from unions but mostly because his competition is……

Billionaire Tom Steyer

Tom Steyer

He has spent likely a hundred million dollars on TV ads.  He wants to break up Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), which I doubt could happen or actually lower costs, but go for it!  PG&E is an evil empire out here in California so picking on them does move the needle.  PG&E has said it will spend 10 million to defeat him, classic stupidity as the ads will likely raise Steyers vote total.  Steyer is also all in on the billionaire tax that qualified for the ballot in November.  (More on that in another blog).  Steyer is all in on flaunting his wealth, and I think that’s a mistake in the Democrat Party.  Prediction, I think he finishes 2nd-3rd.  He has been constantly second in the polling.  Credit where it’s due, he actually has ideas.

Steve Hilton

Former Fox News host who hails from LA.  He is leading the polls and will finish 1st-2nd.  As mentioned, Trump endorsed him, so he has gotten a boost in polling.  Trump carries a lot of weight.  However, I won’t be voting for him.  Hilton gives me an odd vibe; similar to how I feel about Sean Hannity. Hannity claims to hate New York City, yet says I’ve called New York home most of my life.  Hannity drives and openly brags about his hybrid car, again it’s an odd vibe for a conservative.  Hilton has lived here for years, immigrated from Britain.  He doesn’t really have any ideas, it’s mostly boiler plate GOP talking points.  He seems like a Country Club RINO Republican that the Republican voters in this state love.  On social issues, I’ve heard there is no difference between Hilton and the Democrats.  I will say this, I will not cast a ballot for him in either election.

Katie Porker

The babe who berated her staff constantly has zero chance.  She will likely be 5th.  She has now bizarrely stated it’s because she is a woman.  Yup, that’s how I decide who to vote for, you got a vagina; stick to the kitchen and make babies, and while you’re at it, make me a sandwich toots.  Maybe if she used the term “birthing person” and not a gender specific one, she would fare better?

Editor Comment: when did Democrats decide a woman has a vagina? Clearly the Chief has not been sufficiently indoctrinated during his employee training classes. I will have HR look into this lapse of judgment. Dear Democrat readers, please excuse his sexist presumptions about the rainbow of genders with which you can identify in the great republic democracy of California.

Closing Thoughts

As you can see, things will be interesting down the stretch here.  I only lament that if Trump didn’t endorse, we may have been able to sneak 2 Republicans through.  Such is life though.  What I do think is exciting is we could have a vast array of finishes when all the votes are counted.  I do not typically trust polling, but I feel confident saying Hilton gets one of the two slots.  Steyer and Becerra are intriguing.  Either could take the other slot.  Do Democrats vote for the billionaire?  Is simply being anti-Trump enough to get elected?  It’s the flip of a coin; Becerra has been the late riser in the polling with Swalwell being eliminated.

Grab your popcorn, buckle your seat belt, and enjoy the ride.

One thing that could be interesting, Billionaire Tom Steyer vs Steve Hilton.  While Steyer is simultaneously campaigning for governor and the billionaire tax, Gavin Newsom said he will pour resources into defeating the ballot measure.  Democrats do not typically like billionaires.  Is it vote blue no matter who?  Or could Hilton backdoor his way to the governorship as an Arnold Schwarzenegger? At least Hilton is not promising to blow-up boxes like Arnold did. After all, boxes are a legitimate type of housing in many cities in California. That folks is proof that Hilton is a compassionate conservative.

Thought on 2026 Idaho Primary

It’s election season once again. Here in Idaho, we are going to the polls next Tuesday. Unlike, my colleagues in California, we actually have to go to a precinct, present a photo I.D. and then cast a ballot. Furthermore, in Idaho, Republicans, Libertarians, and most Democrats are all registered Republicans. Yep, in most parts of Idaho, you can win a central committee seat on the Democrat side of the aisle with less than fifty votes. In most parts of Idaho, the Republican that wins in the primary is anointed during the general election without any further campaigning after their primary victory.

On the one side you have conservative folks that are true believers. They advocate for educational vouchers, abolishing property taxes, liberal understanding of Second Amendment rights, and liberty. These guys are fun to watch as they try to see who can be the most conservative in the bunch.

On the other side are RINOs and incognito Democrats pushing for more government programs and spending. They will do whatever they can to get more candy from the Great White Fathers in Washington DC. On social issues, they oppose bills keeping men out of women’s bathrooms and women’s sports, want to weaken restrictions on abortion, support the right of local governments to fly the Pride flag, and boost spending on government schools. Of course, they always have an excuse for their undermining of their constituents. Often, they call bills curtailing government unnecessary or a waste of time and energy. They base this on the fact that Idaho has a 90-day legislative session each year. Thus, the budget is front and center.

One political gimmick that RINOs employ to kill proposed legislation is the Committee Chairman’s desk drawer. Think of this as the Legislative equivalent of the roach motel. The bill checks in but never checks out. The bill gets to Chairman PACmoney and he puts it in his desk drawer and somehow it is never seen again. It never gets to be heard by his committee and is stalled for the remainder of the time while the Legislature is in session.

There are other political games employed to euthanize ideas, so they never come to a vote.

I’m hoping that next week we can unseat a few worthless fellows from the RINO camp. You can never give me too much liberty.

The Voting Rights Act and More Redistricting

So, the Supreme Court shot down parts of The Voting Rights Act as being unconstitutional.  The act basically made it so majority minority congressional districts cannot really be altered very easily.  Basically, I read it as “the other side of the tracks, the inner city or mostly black areas got a seat.”  So those protections are gone now, and I think it’s a good thing actually, but likely not for the same reasons you might think.

Likely electoral map as of May 10, 2026

I am not ok with removing a majority black district’s representative when the district will be sawed up like an example I give below.  I do think it’s actually good long term, because as things are currently, you essentially created a fiefdom.  Once that member got elected, they serve 40 years and essentially do nothing for the district.  Then, as a result, falls into a state of disrepair.  The other members won’t care about it, and the guy representing the seat may not even live there!  In one such example, there is a blighted area near Watt and I-80 near the light rail stations.  It’s a drug, gang, crime, and human trafficking haven.  It’s been that way for probably 50 years.  Think the representative cares?  I don’t.

However, here is the part I do not agree with and do not like.

States have now decided to re-district their lines again.  The mostly black districts are being whacked 3 or 4 ways.  The intent here is just to wipe them out.  Louisiana paused their primary election.  Tennessee has taken 60% black Memphis and carved it up 3 ways. All seats are now Republican in Tennessee, net +1.  South Carolina and Alabama appear to be on the similar path, could they wipe out both Democrats in Alabama?  Seems to be tough.  Plus 1 in South Carolina probably happens.  Louisiana is likely another plus 1. I don’t think they can carve up New Orleans.  Texas, California, and New York could do the same as well, now that the voting rights act is gone, likely not this year though.  Note: CA & TX redid their maps and made each party likely to gain 5 seats a piece.

I do not believe that our system of government intended for the lines to be redrawn more often than once a decade, since districts are drawn after the census.  You should not be dividing up big cities or stretching districts to include swaths of rural areas.  This dilutes the vote for both parties.  Think about it, where I live, no Republican will get close to winning statewide.  My congress seat is overwhelmingly Democrat, ditto with my state rep and state senator.  No reason for me to pull the lever.  It’s the same in red states. They essentially took the word “election” out and replaced with controllable seat.  It also needlessly dilutes the vote. California, like Texas and New York has lots of registered voters from the other party.  Check out what Virgina was trying to do; redraw every seat to be safe for the blue team.  Tennessee is now safe for the red team.

In closing, I actually think it’s odd that this practice has taken over. It used to be you basically kept the district lines the same, maybe you added or lost a seat and re-jiggering happened.  Then there was a push for independent committees to do it.  Now it’s rig this thing so no one will lose, and the other party will be locked out.

The Chief

Editor’s Note: I have found here in Idaho that the vast majority of Democrats have registered as Republicans. They run for office as Republicans but vote with the few Democrats in the Legislature. The really odd part is that average Republicans are often ok voting for Democrats (or RINOs if you prefer) as long as the blessed “R” is next to their party designation on the ballot. My current “Republican” State Senator voted to allow boys to use girl’s bathrooms, opposes Idaho’s profile laws, votes for every spending increase, and opposed educational vouchers and other conservative bills. He has a good chance at re-election because he is getting lots of support from Political Action Committees run by large national and international companies. Oh, last election, my “Republican” Senator’s yard signs were often seen with signs supporting Kamala Harris and a ballot measure for Ranked Choice Voting. This what being a “Big Tent” Republican looks like in the real world.

Eric Swalwell: What a Fall from Grace

Eric Swalwell is a Congressman from Alameda County near the Bay Area.  At the age of 45, he was regarded as a rising star in the Democrat Party.  He had recently picked-up big-time endorsements in the race to be the next governor of California.  While folks on the far right will not admit it, when the California Teachers Union endorses you, it’s your race to lose.  In recent polling, he was comfortably in the top two to advance to the runoff.  Even the mentally challenged will tell you no Republican is winning against a Democrat in the general election.

Swalwell had everything going for him.  The left loved him as he ran the impeachment process of President Trump.  This guy was going to be the next governor and likely would have been a highly touted candidate to run for the presidency.

Then it all came crashing down.

On April 10, 2026, the San Francisco Chronicle published a story in which a former Swalwell staffer claimed that Swalwell, 17 years her senior, had sexually assaulted her on more than one occasion, including when she was too intoxicated to give consent. A few hours later, CNN published a story in which four women alleged sexual misconduct by Swalwell, including a former staffer who said he raped her. Politico also reported that a former Swalwell employee signed a non-disclosure agreement pertaining to employment discrimination when they left his office. Although the agreement was not related to sexual harassment, it directly contradicted Swalwell’s previous claims that no one on his staff signed an NDA.

The California teacher’s union pulled their endorsement, 21 of his colleagues pulled theirs as well.  Some of his colleagues are calling for him to leave Congress.  A resolution is being put out to expel him from Congress!

This past Sunday he ended his campaign to be governor. Later, he announced his resignation from Congress.

Stick a fork in Swalwell. He is done.

I am not one to dance on someone’s grave, but Swalwell came off as an arrogant douche bag of a human being.  Turns out he is exactly what he accused Donald Trump of being.  One thing I do question is the timing of these reports.  He is suddenly getting major traction in the governor race and wham, these reports drop simultaneously.  The fall from grace has been startling, in a span of 48 hours his political career is ending.  He will likely be expelled from Congress.  There are rumors of the District Attorneys in California and New York are sniffing around these allegations and he could face criminal charges.

Swalwell went from rising star to persona non-grata over a weekend.

The Chief

Editor’s Note: I was on the road yesterday when this was sent to me yesterday morning. Subsequently the story blew-up in the media. I give the Chief two scalps since the guy in Texas quit too.

I haven’t seen a Democrat cancelled this fast since that black guy on the Board of Equalization was tossed under the bus by then Governor Jerry Brown many years ago.

Katie Porter

Also, candidate Katie Porter is believed to have her fingerprints on Swalwell’s resignation. Katie Porter and influencer behind Swalwell allegations “don’t have a relationship to speak of,” campaign says – CBS News

No Kings? Oh Please!

As William blogged, the No Kings protests happened again last weekend.  Sure, there was a decent turnout, but the protestors are paid.  These events are financed by a billionaire in China.  Oh, and billionaire George Soros threw in 72-million dollars as well.

Screenshot

A network of about 500 groups with an estimated $3 billion in combined annual revenues is behind the coordinated nationwide “No Kings” protest Saturday, including communist groups who are using the day to call for a “revolution,” according to a Fox Digital News investigation.

According to a copy of the permit for the “flagship” march in St. Paul, Minn., Indivisible, a national well-heeled Democratic political advocacy organization funded by billionaire George Soros, is the lead coordinator for the protest.

But Fox News Digital has also identified key participation by a network of radical socialist and communist organizations funded by Neville Roy Singham, an American tech tycoon and avowed communist living in China.

500 groups with $3B in revenues are behind the #NoKings protests and communist call for ‘revolution’

Let us be real for just one minute. No grown adult will wear a silly costume and make a silly sign to stand on a street corner for a whole day; unless they are being paid!

However, let me go a step further to try to explain to those whackos what a king really looks like.

Jack Dorsey (former Twitter owner) literally booted Trump off his platform.  It made it next to impossible while he was running for re-election to get his message out to the under 45 crowd.

Jack Dorsey

Who is the king again exactly?

Covid “pandemic” led to Gavin and Co.  Didn’t get the shot?  You were called a name and your life made miserable.

Owned a restaurant?  Closed, or worse; simple take out only.  Choose to be open for full service, you were shamed online, and fined or cited by the City/County.

Didn’t have an “essential job” then sit your butt at home and watch TV, we will get you $1000 per week, plus stimulus money.  You wonder why after 3 years of lockouts no one wants to work.

Owned a rental?  Oh, your tenant does not need to pay and you are forbidden from evicting them.  Oh, the mortgage payment you owe is still due.  Seems fair right?

Your kid’s school went from in person to virtual, but you had to report to work, so you had to assume junior was still taking his classes online.  Interesting how many school districts “lost track” of numerous numbers of students.

The dental offices and some doctors’ offices were closed, and people wonder why we have a bunch of unhealthy, overweight folks on this earthly plane?

We kept open bars, liquor stores, and weed dispensaries.  Read that sentence again.  This is why countries like Russia make fun of us.  It’s a health crisis but we prioritize, drinking, and smoking.  Oh, go ahead and throw gambling in there as the Indian Casinos were exempted too.  Good thing our priorities were straight!

We are still feeling the effects of this.  State workers still get to work mostly from home.  Our downtown in Sacramento looks abandoned except for the “unhoused masses”.  It’s quite sad.

In the examples above you had an unelected bureaucrat who made the call to shut down businesses in the county over “data.”  Dr Peter Beilenson was the King in chief to lock our home county down.  He was later outed as a racist for called Chinese people “yellow people” on multiple occasions.

Dr Aimee Sisson was in charge of red Placer County. Once the county had enough of the lockdowns and re-opened, she tucked tail and went over to Yolo county (far more blue) and infested that county with lockdowns.  The good news for her is those folks will listen to a king, as thinking for themselves is a lost art in Yolo County.

That is what a king looks like!

Black Lives Matter riots

One thing that really stood out was the sheer number of electeds and District Attorneys who pledged allegiance to this crew!  NO charges were filed, and folks were allowed to; loot, riot, and destroy anything they saw fit!  On some news channels it was actually encouraged!  By not even attempting to stop the madness, businesses were closed, destroyed, or shut down.

Again, Kings.

In closing, I’ll say this.  Trump is not perfect; it has been detailed on this blog.  But how can he be considered a king?  These folks detailed above literally destroyed people’s lives and livelihood.  We are still feeling the damage and likely will for several more years.

If you want to know what a real king looks like; take a gander at Vladimir Putin.  Elections are rigged in Russia.  Political opponents jailed or “investigated” (sound familiar?).  Starts a war in Ukraine and immediately conscripts folks from the parts of Russia not friendly to him.  Look at the now dead Ayatollah in Iran.  He gunned down thousands of protestors a couple months ago.  Iran has reportedly killed over half a million of their own people just to keep control of the country. Look at Kim in North Korea, he kills opponents, purges his military every so often and starves his own people.

Yet these kooks want to call Trump a king??????

The Chief

No Kings

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. Tomorrow is when the Church commemorates Jesus’ triumphant procession into the city of Jerusalem. If you recall, a few short days later, the same crowds that welcomed him went from shouting “Hosannah” to “Crucify Him”. “We have no king but Ceasar.”

Crucify him. We have no King but Caesar.

In like manner, crowds of atheists are gathering today to proclaim that they have no king but Ceasar. The State is their god. OK, really their god is their belly, but the State is the almighty power that provided them with blessing and uses its power to curse their enemies by redistributing their wealth, cancelling them, removing their children, and debanking those that oppose the tyranny of the State.

Yes, these guys claim that they are protesting President Trump but that is not true. They hate America. They hate Christianity. They hate Western Culture. They hate themselves. And lastly and most of all, they hate God in the Heavens. They are advocates of full-throated rebellion against God. They hate anyone that worships God. They hate God’s economic system—capitalism. They hate those made in His image—think transgenderism, homosexuality, abortion, euthanasia, transhumanism, etc. They hate God’s Law—think equality under the law, capital punishment, equal weights and measures, family, loving your neighbor, secure elections, and secure borders, etc.

Oh, these anti-capitalist/anti-government rallies are funded by billionaires and foreign governments—think George Soros, China, etc. They masquerade as spontaneous gatherings, but it is a carefully crafted and coordinated campaign to subvert America. Oh, it also just happens to be their national campaign to attempt taking Congress away from the feckless Republican Party and plunging the country into witch-hunts and endless impeachment resolutions which are designed to allow the ascendancy of Communism.

So, if you happen to be driving down the street today and see the paid campaign to undermine America by folks proclaiming they have “No King” remember that is not true. They just don’t want to be ruled by God, same story since the Garden. The truth is they have No King But Caesar and anyone that dares to weaken the power of the State is their enemy.

We have no king but Ceasar.

CA Governor’s Race Commentary

So, we, out here in the People’s Republic of California, are picking a new Governor this November.  Governor Newsom is running for President and can’t wait to vacate the Capital!

This is where things get whacky. There are like 9 serious Democrats running for the job!  Contrast that to the Republican side where there are 2 serious candidates.  You are probably wondering why that is a concern. Well, in California, it’s the top two finishers that move on regardless of Party.  So yes, Republicans have a chance to do the funniest thing!

While it is highly unlikely, if the Republicans were to take the top two slots, big change for the better would come to California.  Democrats would likely repeal that law, and elections would go back to the way they were when this State was actually competitive.  This would actually be a very good thing. Traditionally, in certain parts of California, third parties like; Green, Libertarian, and Peace and Freedom, can get a few percent of the total, meaning that they could play spoiler.  Back to the Governor’s race!

In order to accomplish that feat, the Republicans would have to almost evenly split the roughly 34-37% of the vote.  That is likely the size of the vote for a Republican candidate in the primary.  If Sheriff Bianco and Steve Hilton can pull that feat off, they likely will be advancing to the General.

Here is why.

Democrats have a mess on their side, a big one.

Partial list of candidates

They have 2 congressmen (1 former) from the Los Angeles area running; Katie Porter and Eric Swallwell.  Both are known to the voters: as Porter ran for Senate 2 years ago.  Xavier Becerra is a former Attorney General and he will get a few percent as well.  Tom Steyer is a billionaire who is spending a lot of money and running a lot of ads.  He will also get several percent of the vote.  Matt Mahan is the Mayor of San Jose who is kind of a populist, he will also garner a few percent.  Tony Thurmond, and Betty Yee were both elected statewide a few times, again they will register a couple percent.  Antonio Villaragosa is the former LA mayor; he could get a couple percent as well.  Problem for the Democrats is all of those 8 names are going to split up the vote, and it could lock them out of the top two.

Even more candidates wanting to replace Gavin Newsom

Polling has been scarce, but it appears Steve Hilton (former Fox News Host) is leading the entire field with some combination of Swalwell, Porter, and Steyer a few points behind, and Sheriff Bianco in that mix as well. One has to wonder, when will the knives come out on both sides.  Let’s be real for a minute here. There is zero chance of a Republican being elected Governor, zero; unless both Republican candidates make the top 2.  At what point, if you are advising Swalwell, Porter, or Steyer do you say, “rip the gloves off and go scorched earth on each other?”  The goal being get yourself and a Republican into the top two and voila you win.  One thing for sure, it’s a very fluid race, and will change a bunch over the next few months.  Steyer’s ads will show his support rising; however, he is all in on the billionaire tax, quite a few Democrats are not in support of it.  Swalwell is probably the moderate of the group, Porter being the far-left progressive pick.  Porter has documented anger issues and Swalwell slept with a Chinese spy, so they are flawed.

Wild card.  Who will Trump endorse?  Don’t get it twisted, even in a state like California, his endorsement will move the numbers; however, I would prefer that he stay out.  Neither GOP candidate is great. Actually, both are seriously flawed. Neither have raised much money.  Hilton is doing better in the polls as he likely has higher name identification due to his years hosting a show on Fox during the weekends.  Bianco is an elected Sheriff from Riverside County (near LA) so he has name I.D. too.

Needless to say, it could be a fun couple of months out here in CA.  One thing is for certain; the Democrats do not want 2 Republicans getting through, but if the top three Democrats take the gloves off, it could happen.  If Trump doesn’t weigh in, again the top 2 Republicans could split 38% of the vote or so.  The other thing that is for certain, if 2 Democrats make the top two, there is a solid chance the GOP could decide the outcome.

Get your popcorn ready!

SAVE Act

Folks, I get the arguments against the SAVE Act. Yes, it should be a matter left up to the States, but what are we to do when the States fail to do their job? Just wring our hands and say, “Oh well.”

Let’s be honest and say Minnesota is corrupt and California is corrupt as hell; and so are many other States. Are we simply expected to pretend to be impotent and let the large Liberal States drag the rest of us the rest of the way into Communism and Socialism. We’ve been heading that way since FDR so please don’t make this a choice between freedom and tyranny. We are a long way from freedom, but it seems every year it gets a bit farther out of reach.

Most of what the Federal government does is unconstitutional. I get that, but to invoke the idea to oppose the SAVE Act because it is an over-reach seems like a cop-out to me. We are over the cliff and on the verge of loosing the Republic if we don’t force the States to limit voter participation to American Citizens. If States won’t do that voluntarily then only the Federal Government can compel them to do what is right. That’s just reality. Only when both political parties agree to this premise can a State level solution be pursued. The Liberal States don’t want to limit voting to citizens because their biggest constituent group is foreigners that are here illegally. This was Biden’s immigration strategy all along. Anyone saying differently is a liar.

Guys, we have a small window of time to get our country back or it will be lost forever.

But why the SAVE Act? Did you know it is piggybacked onto the 1993 motor vote law? Yep, I hate that law too, but … The motor voter law has been litigated. By changing its requirements, the hope is to avoid a protected amount of litigation which would be the case if the SAVE Act was created out of whole cloth. What good would it be to pass the law and then have it blocked by a Federal court judge?

The biggest obstacle to passing the SAVE Act is Republicans, specifically John Thune. Thune was opposed to the idea and still is. He signed on to support the measure only after 49 Republican Senators got on board with it. Thune did not do this to lead but to obstruct. By signing on to the Act and being the highest-ranking Republican, he gets to call the shots as to when, where, or if, it ever has a chance to become law. He will either block it or shake-down the rest of his Senate colleagues to extract concessions on swamp goodies to allow a vote. Thune is purposely screwing-over the country by blocking the SAVE Act. As usual, he is turning the Constitution into a suicide pact.

Congress is a hopelessly corrupt organization whose job is to fix nothing because if they did, they would have no crisis requiring them to be elected to fix anything. When out of power, Democrats are always the champions of immigration, but when they control the levers of power, they never fix the issue. If they did then they couldn’t fundraise on the issue and campaign against the other party for stopping their solutions which are actually and purposely nonexistent. Didn’t you notice that they never introduce a bill to fix their issues, they just point fingers at other side once they lose power. Ditto for Republicans, just different issues.
