Joe Farah, the man behind WorldNetDaily.com, posted a very disturbing article titled “Al-Qaida nukes already in U.S.” The article makes many profound assertions about the next attack on American soil. According to captured al-Qaida leaders and documents, the plan is called the “American Hiroshima” and involves the multiple detonation of nuclear weapons already smuggled into…

How Subway Lost It’s Way
Subway, the sandwich shop, is the largest franchise by store count. I believe McDonalds is larger by revenue, but I digress. Back in my college days in 2008, Subway was my go to when the cafeteria food was bad. The sandwich was just that a sandwich, the cost was $5 as the 5-dollar footlong was…

My first hotel experience in Lapu Lapu City was the Crown Regency Hotel. I will be comparing it, in part, with my visit last year. The Crown Regency is an older hotel along a main road in Lapu Lapu City. Per the elevator buttons, it has ten floors. It has a small swimming pool and…

I am overseas for the next two months. In honor of the occasion, I will randomly be presenting reviews of stuff that I experienced. My goal is to inform people about what I’m up to without angering my family or others that think they know what’s best for my life. First up, is The Big…

Yesterday, another missive was circulated entitled “Emergency Situation Preparedness.” Citing the San Bernardino shooting and closure of Los Angeles schools (based on a hoax), this state agency sent out the “…following information copied from a large…

This week I watched the three part presentation of Childhood’s End on the SyFy channel. The program looked interesting. It was a modern take on the 1953 story by Arthur C Clarke. I have not read the book by Clarke but I did read the summary on Wikipedia.org just to get a feel for what…

I saw this headline today, “Evangelical preacher on trial after branding Islam ‘satanic’” LONDON (AP)—An evangelical preacher from Northern Ireland who branded Islam satanic has been charged with spreading a “grossly offensive” message. In a May 2014 sermon, James McConnell told worshippers at the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast: “Islam is heathen. Islam is satanic.”…
